Water flodding

  1. In one of Tiy's videos on YouTube it was shown that there was going to be pressureised water. Will there be much functionality to it? I mean in Terraria all water did was drown you, make obsidian and remove torches. It would be great if water, if flowing fast enough, could destroy a tent or push you and other NPC's away. Also if some NPC's could drown that would be cool.

    2 more things...
    1. Water could be made harder to swim in if it is colder....
    2. No Penguin emoticon??????........RRRAAAGGGE:mad:

Why swim slower? Did you ever fall to cold water? You move really fast to get out from it! ;)

  3. True point.......... but its more frozen and more solid when colder

Hopefully you will have warming armor ;)

Also, when the human body cools, it starts slowing down to preserve energy. The cold water "saps" your strenth.

    Good idea! :)
but i think there should be natural water sources like waterfalls and rivers. Also some hazardous water structure like whirlpools, sinkholes, Etc.
penguin emoticon is a good idea!

  7. All very good points.....
That should especially be on ocean worlds, then there will be more good stuff instead of flat ocean

    :mindwurm: The Mindwurm approves...

Also, I would like it if water could even break through blocks if pressurized enough, but this would go to a limit, like 5 blocks of any block besides air, because then oceans would just flood the entire world.

  9. Yeah... could be good.

Here i meant to say that speed, swimming or not, could be affected by your warmth level... I accidentally clicked post and then had to go for a bit, so.... yeah
