Modding Help Want to see an old mod updated? See inside.

    Daimoth, thnx for all your work with this thread. You've really helped defunct but awesome mods shine again.
    After you handle porting to Enraged Koala, we would have to port to the unstable/stable build release 2, correct? I think they changed
    it from .pak stuff to .modpack or something...

    You're correct. The way I understand it, the change only affects mods that make use of the .pak format. So far, none of the mods I have updated do so.

    Even if one did, it would be a simple matter of acquiring the necessary .exe and changing my .bat accordingly. Is there an old .pak mod you want to see updated?

    ...I have one, though the mod in question has been deleted off the forums due to the author giving up on the game. Am I still allowed to post a link to the version I have sitting in my dropbox?

    This and this. While they worked just fine with a version edit in the original Enraged Koala release (along with its other bugs I didn't like x-x) with this new infrastructure change these mods started crashing the game. I was hoping you could get them to work for me ^^; I really miss my Uranium Heater ;( And with that vending machine... I don't want to have to delete my player shipinfo file AGAIN just so that my mods would work because of an ingame item placement...

    Sorry, I only handle mods which are either:
    • at least two major patches behind, or
    • explicitly abandoned.
    If they're still abandoned come next patch, I'll update them then.

    Damn... Is there any way you can tell me how I should go about updating them myself? I don't have much in terms of modding experience, but I really don't want to have to delete my shipinfo file...

    The telekinesis doesn't work for me for some reason. I've extracted the file into my mods folder, but it didn't work. So I took the actual files out (The recipe, Lua, Etc.) and put those in the mod folder. That didn't work either. Am I doing something wrong? P.S. I clicked on the done and went straight to the dropbox. That might be wrong, I don't know.
