Not to mention they payed for starbound made by chucklefish not them. If they were to not get beta access, and a copy on full release then they can say they were ripped off. Other than that the date means nothing legally speaking.

I also want to point out this very important line on the
    "PRE-ORDER PAGE"
When the page was written - the beta was not available

    Pentarctagon Over 9000!!!

If you can play the game, then by definition you can't pre-purchase it. Chucklefish not updating some of their web pages doesn't magically redefine a word.

There's lots of things that Chucklefish doesn't update, even when the updates were promised to come "Thick and Fast" ;).

You're clearly very unhappy (understatement, right?) in regards to an unfinished video game that is still in early access. You've went through all this trouble of getting some very nice looking pictures to prove your point (which is uh.. that you can still uh.. get a refund from Steam since.. the game is still in pre-order I think) and sadly, while we do accept and approve of all kinds of valid constructive criticism I just don't see the point of this thread.

I mean it's a pretty great guide on How To (maybe?) Get A Refund From Steam If You're Upset About A Video Game, but I'm just going to shut it down before it devolves into pointless arguments and circlejerking about Chucklefish (on both sides).

Best of luck to whoever tries to get a refund via Steam.
