Can smb tell me difference between these two games? What of this is newer and what si mo playable and addictive?
An opinion can't be given on Adventures, since it isn't even out yet, but from what information had been released: Wanderlust: Rebirth is a linear game, Adventures is open world. Adventures will be a larger game, Rebirth was 'sizable', it wasn't small, it wasn't big, Adventures will be larger, no shadow of a doubt. Rebirth was more 'Story driven', it seems Adventures will be a little less so, as with most Open world RPGs, it's more about content than story. As for how Addictive/playable Rebirth is. In my opinion, it's an enjoyable game, it has it's flaws, but all in all it's a fun game.
Moved your thread to General Discussion of Wunderlust. Off topic chat is generally for all things not published by Chucklefish.
We made a blog post addressing the differences between WR and WA here: http://www.yetitrunk.blogspot.com/2013/05/wanderlust-adventures-developers-log-11.html It is fairly outdated now, but you should be able to get the idea. Essentially, WR came out first, and we used the revenue and feedback from that game to create WA (so of course its going to be much larger and refined). However, it is still worth picking up WR if you just care about unlocking some extra hero skins in WA.
It's worth picking up Rebirth for the game itself! Get a buddy or two and the game is a blast. It's a little hard for solo play though.
As someone who had no friends, and played it solo, i can certainly confirm that's true, still haven't completed hard/epic yet..
