i used 7zip and i still cant get it to work so im gunna uninstall and reinstall and if it works ill pull this comment down but untill then could i have some advice?

 

a bit more information would be helpfull, where did you used 7zip and what does starbound "say" when youre starting it?

 

It was something to do with internet explorer and when i started it it either crashed or wouldn't work at all

I did a few minor cosmetic changes and updates to give this race a bit of life until I have the time to new assets separate from the Avian race. In addition, I've implemented Lefl's fixes, added a simple .txt file with installation instructions, and included the Small Extended Race mod http://community.playstarbound.com/resources/small-extended-race-selection.2492/
Are off-site links allowed on the boards? I'm in the process of getting it sent to Rose, but if anyone's having trouble still then maybe I can get it out directly?

Its because Devs are changing their Modding API every now and then for some reason (renaming JSON keys for config files makes not much sense)

 

Now it works, untilI actually try to play as the character. Once I try to play as the Vulpes, it crashes.

As far as I know, OS doesn't seem to matter with any of these issues. Lefl's coding fix when applied to a Windows user (myself) makes it work just fine.

I've sent a fixed version to Rose already, with a complete small tweaks of my own to make the mod look nicer. She should have it up soon.
