Basically I'm wondering if anybody has seen one anywhere since I'm having trouble finding one. Would be a really nice thing to have when creating macros and such for simple things like a one keystroke dash so people could know what keys don't do anything to bind them to without having to test each key manually and just hope they aren't just not seeing what the key does.

A little confused to what you're asking, but if you're asking for a screen that shows the game's controls, push "L" or click on the book icon ont he right of the screen. Read the "Control Yourself" entry, list of keys right there.

This was not what I was asking about. A visual keymap shows a picture of the keyboard showing what hotkeys are used. The reason I ask isn't to learn the controls but to use as a tool to assist in making macros and such. Figured there may be something along those lines on one of the wikis or in a post on here somewhere and I had just failed to spot it hence why I asked.

I'm a little confused as to why you would want macros....this isn't WoW......just saying

Not for anything major most likely but simply things like double tapping for the dash. Some peoples fingers get tired when they have to dash repeatedly. But that's besides the point and does not answer the question. The thread isn't about why it's about IF it exists. It was an if yes where and if no then no need to respond and needlessly bump the thread question.

I sometimes have dumb.. Macro saves me from dumb.. Unless it is my explode self macro.. I love that button in TF2..

Seriously though.. Macros are handy for any game.. It could be a simple chain of messages.. Such as when I was a mod on a Minecraft server, I used to use a greeting macro for the new people instead of typing it out.. Mine was a whimsical way of saying "SHUT YER FACE AND READ THE SIGNS!!" One day I did say that word for word... In all caps too.. Half the server laughed including the guy I said it too.. >.> Mostly because I knew beforehand it was the server owner and I was talking to him in vent.. Fun times..

Like I mentioned before, I use macros in various games, but in TF2 I got only 2 set... 1 is +use.. the other is.... KABOOOOOOM! Yeah.. Macro in a shooter.. Go figure..

This is the best picture I could find. Do you mean something like this? If so, then sadly no, there is no such thing. I take it you have something like Razer Synapse like I do which allows the creation for macros.

If you want just controls look here. If you want a list of all tech specific controls check this post on the Steam forums.

Want a visual copy? Make screenshots.</joke>

This is the type of thing I was asking about yes. The only response that actually answers the question right here and I thank you for it. I don't actually need it it was just a thing I thought would be nice to have and wanted to know if it was indeed a thing or not.
