I think that the colony system is really cool. I like that furniture and decorations have a purpose. Something that drives me a bit bananas, though, is that I don't know what furniture goes with what colonist. This is particularly frustrating when I get a colonist quest to "Build a room with 3 scientific things" or "3 Apex items." What does the game think is scientific? My intuition says outpost terminals, computers, and monitors should be scientific. What makes a 'cool chair' a monkey item? I'd like for the game to display what race and furniture tags and object has. Perhaps as a section of the item description, or in a container that auto-sorts items according to the tags. Personally, I hate having to minimize the game to look something up on the wiki.
