Yes but I thinked it's possible to do the same with Starbound

A long time back there was an unexpected I/O behaviour possible with starbound that'd let you access files on another players (servers) computer in a manner that brought a huge security risk.
This has been resolved a long time ago and things like those are in no way possible anymore, as Lua is limited to Input now, you can't write-access any files via modding, let alone write / distribute whole virus infected .dll files.

"This has been resolved a long time ago" That was possible before?

Probably long, long before your time.
And it was fixed pretty fast, iirc, not something that was there the whole time.
But even back then, I doubt that it was possible in that big of a scale.

Whatever, tl;dr is still that you didn't get this Virus through Starbound (unless you pirated it or it was pre-infected).
Not sure how many people you need to tell you that before you believe it, but well.

    Pretty much this.

@yorik100 This isn't a place for chatting, nor making unfounded claims (just because you don't understand how something works doesn't mean it's the source of all your problems). If you're having a technical issue with the game, we'd be happy to help. If you're going to install mods/addons not downloaded from a reputable site/source and you refuse to scan them before installing, then that's your responsibility and not the fault of anyone/anything else (especially if you're installing binaries/executables which have no place being in legitimate Starbound mods/addons). You've been asked for a copy of your log more than once and you have not provided it. The DLL you mentioned in your original post does not come from a legitimate installation of Starbound. If you're not interested in solving your issue, you are welcome to take the conversation to another section of the forums.

You should always make sure that you're following safe computer/internet practices to avoid viruses/trojans/malware/etc:
    - Don't download or run anything that didn't come from a trustworthy source.
    - Install (and keep updated) antivirus and anti-malware programs and run scans regularly and often.
    - Don't give out personal info for any reason to websites you don't trust.
    - If it seems too good to be true, it most likely is.

I'm going to leave this thread open for now as you've indicated you have an issue (although from what it seems your issue is not related to the game). If you don't wish for help with your issue, I'll close this thread up.
