I would love to see vibranium being used as a crafting material, or something of the like. I'm not sure if the developers would have to get "permission" from Marvel to use it in their game or what. But imagine using a weapon similar to Captain America's shield, obviously in a more high tech version.
seems a bit silly to add the metal for the purpose of adding one item. but on another note, the fictional periodic table square for that element is bugging me for some reason that I cannot remember enough from chemistry class to identify.
It might have a good use for kinetic energy harnessing technology that would yield almost perfect efficiency (to make such an energy source worthwhile) with its extreme resonating abilities? Maybe rename it "Resonium" or "RS" to avoid the crossing lines with Marvel, too.
The atomic number and the atomic mass don't match up. The atomic mass should be at least double the atomic number. Let's not forget that 310 is WAY off the table of elements, but hey, that's fiction for you.
To be honest I have never heard of an atom with -116 neutrons before... At minimum the mass number should be the same as the proton number. But still a good idea, copyright issues aside.
good idea, but needs a lot more uses to become more than a waste after you've made a few things with it. and it needs a new name for copyright issues
Maybe you could put vibranium between a sword handle and it's blade, and it would shake like a reciprocating saw.
The thing about vibranium is it has nothing to do with vibrations. It's just some super-awesome unobtanium that Marvel came up with decades ago for Cap'n America's shield (explaining how it can deflect... anything). Demon of Borders, you're think of just a plain ol' vibroblade, a la Star Wars: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Vibroblade
