Hello! I'm not complaining, but more so just expressing my disappointment with junimo huts. The junimo have been known to be able to magically restore an entire room in a fraction of a second, and yet they harvest your crops EXTREMELY slowly. I have one junimo hut in the center of 4 big fields and it takes them until around 6pm to finish harvesting their area of effect. It takes me until about 9-10am to finish it without their help. I was honestly expecting them to work kind of like how sprinklers do, if you get outside before 6:10 you can see them working but they're done after that. Junimo are magical creatures so you'd think they would be able to harvest quickly. What do you guys think?
I think Junimos are less like workers and more like compulsive hoarders. The bundles were just an excuse to stockpile a bunch of stuff. If you didn't come along every day to collect what they harvest you'd come back and find their hut lined nine feet deep in mouldering pumpkins, wheat stalks, and whatever you left out behind the shipping bin last Tuesday.
I kinda like that they work slower, and that you're able to see them out and about while you tend to other things. This is the feature I'm most excited about for the update, can't wait to have the little guys on my own farm. ^u^
Honestly the vibe I get from'em is less a Mass-collection building and more of a vanity piece that can serve a function. Different expectations.
To be fair, it still does save you the time of collecting the crops, even if you can do it faster. The simple reasoning is that with the hut you don't have to do it at all yourself, so you can use whatever time you usually took to harvest crops and just do something else instead. Milk cows/goats, collect eggs, or whatever you'd like.
