Bug/Issue Very different resolution when clicking the same resolution from start up

If I choose the 1980 x 1080 resolution (my native) its effects appear to only stick around until I relaunch the game. The setting will stay as 1980 x 1080 but simply clicking on it again will get you very, very different results. Here is the game without clicking again on the resolution:

In both cases the zoom is 100%. I was using the base game in the screenshots, but currently I am using the modding api and the beta. The issue happens in both scenarios. There is also the issue with the tool bar in the bottom, but that is fixed easily by changing the zoom. Sorry if this issue was already reported on, I just couldn't find anything on it with my searching.
