Been a while since I looked at this thread, but since I see the word "hiatus" in the title, I don't think you're getting a response for a while...

 

Argh thanks anyway. I will try to fix it myself ... I will learn on the job, it's never bad to learn how to mod a game (and and to fix a mod by the way)

 

I think you should do a clockworks world, and when you enter it, when you go deeper and deeper, you get more varied biomes. For example, 1st floor is forest, 2nd floor is a Frostfire, 3rd is a Cove, etc.. Just an idea I'm throwing out there!

 

The only flaw to this mod is that vanilla generated buildings don't spawn on the new biome worlds. Otherwise, it is a massive breath of fresh air that I want to see incorporated into the base game.

 

Question: Are the re-enable vanilla biomes still buggy, or did you fix them?

 

Has anyone created a compatibility patch for VITSOU that incorporates FF, Starscape, and Starbooze (Starbooze in particular) - or if there is anyone who's created a tutorial that explains the basics of how to create one?

 

In which sector can i find Cloudsland, and how rare is it?

Gamma sector, Somewhat common.

 

i really dont understand why this mod doesnt work for me am i doing something wrong? cause it keeps crashing on me when i try to start. this isnt much info but is there a way i can fix this?

 

What are cloudlands like? I keep thinking they're not solid planets.

They ARE solid planets.
They have land made out of clouds, and trees whit clouds instead of leaves.
Aaand its fucking beautifull.
Oh and, sometimes theres a mini-forest biome and it spawns some pesky dirts and normal trees.. just ignore them if you spawn in some and keep going to a direction till you reach normal clouds. xD

Hi. I really like this mod, however while playing my pleglaci avatar the game freezes and I have to close the game whenever I click on the settlement air lock.

Is there any way I can fix this?

I have a sad feeling the next game update is gonna break this mod... and the creator won't be motivated enough to update it.

If so, I hope he at least lets us know, or sets up a "donate" something or other, so if we throw enough money at him...

I for one can't imagine playing without Variety. It'd be stupid to leave this to rot...
