Is it normal for you to be constantly under burn status when on a charred forest planet?

 

Yeah, it's safe under the shade. I could remove it if you don't like it. It's supposed to represent overheating since that's not currently enabled.

 

Mmmm... don't suppose it would be a good idea to add a function like if using a survival suit to negate that negative affect?

 

EDIT: The chunk in the middle is a FALSE ALARM. It's just incompatibility with Weather Plus.

Is anyone else still having crashes with this? It started today, but is still coming up even after the most recent update (B2.1.7). I don't have any mods installed from the incompatible list, and I've tried deleting the universe folder.

These happened before I even got to the main menu.

Going to try and see if this happens without any other mods installed. Will edit with results.

EDIT: No issues when I did that. Soooo I tried to just remove EVERYTHING and then work the mods back in bit by bit. Turns out the culprit was Weather Plus giving me the issues.

 

Suggestion/Request: Add the special minibiome chests to the full-planet versions of those biomes? I love this mod to death for the additional variety, but as a side-effect it's now almost impossible to find rainbow chests, geometric chests, etc. with any regularity. The whole-planet versions of these biomes (geometric snow, rainbow woods, etc.) do not spawn them, and the relevant minibiomes are now exceedingly rare. I'm now at endgame (impervium unlocked) since Furious Koala without having found a single one, and not for lack of searching.

 

Why can't i find any asteroid fields?

 

I've noticed that, when looking for level 10 planets, I mostly find moons. Other biome types are pretty rare for me. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same?

 

Yeah, there's a lot of moons.

 

I would probably remove the burn status as there is no way to prevent that damage but make sure to add the overheating when it does get implemented. Also had an issue when traveling to a deep ocean planet, was stuck in warp and wouldn't orbit it. I found lots of moons but a lot of other biomes myself, was harder to find a threat 5 planet

 

There is a bug between this and universal energy

 

Having a problem. Singleplayer works fine, yet when i enter a captains chair, my game instantly crashes. The only other mod i have is a ship modification. Also, i wiped my universe folder several times.

thanks for the update, but now magma planets are having infinite warping bugs! it seems like it did not want to go away

 

I have a problem, i can't find coal for the life of me, and i don't particularly want to spend my time tree farming to get coal. Is there a particular planet type that has more coal?

 

It seems that any threat 10 rainbow forest I find has had the infinate warp bug.

Did the warp to it, engines sounded like they powered down, but still in warp.

 

Can you get back into that infinite warp and provide the starbound.log in the root Starbound folder so I can see the error?

Also, those coords don't seem to be correct, even when I copy/pasted them? There weren't any Rainbow Forests in the nearest system to those coords.

Try mining asteroid fields for fuel, though it'd be a bit difficult.

Seems that you downloaded the update a bit early on. I forgot to include a file which fixes the Magma planet bug, and hotfixed it just about a hour after the update release. I was hoping I could get away without anybody noticing.

Yeah, I set it so that 50% of orbiting planets are moons, it's intentional. Realistically, 95% of planets wouldn't be habitable

Can you provide the error log? It's starbound.log in the root Starbound folder. Reproduce the error before sending me it.

I'll remove the burn status next bugfix update.

 

Cool! Did not expect such a love for detail/realism, regarding the moons

 

So, more than likely a *really* dumb question, but if I install this plug-in on my server, will it work for everyone who connects, even if they don't have the mod installed clientside?

Also, if I install it on a fresh server, will people who have existing characters experience problems?
