Outdated Vanity Station Mod 1.1.1 Enraged Koala

Just wondering- will reinstalling this mod once its updated bring my vanity station back? Or am I stuck with an invisible box in my ship now? Btw- having the game set to auto update is not good when using mods that break when the game updates.

 

I noticed the Scalpion is a modded item. Are there more modded items, and if so, could you tell me if the following are?

Winter Scarf
Combat Medic Backpack
AA Battery Pack
I'd like to know, as I planned on installing this mod, getting what I need, then uninstalling so I can use my character in multiplayer.

 

id assume they work in multiplayer, ive gone in and someones commented on the medic outfit and my default as the scarf. (not sure on the battery)

 

None of them are modded, all of the items in my mod are included in the original assets.

 

I am an absolute idiot when it comes to modding, would anyone care to explain how I could install this properly? I tried the way that Lodus explained but it was giving me weird errors and I couldn't launch so I must be doing something wrong. In the mean time I'll do this process 1,903,953 more times until it works

 

Don't mean to rush or anything, just curious, but will this be updated for the new patch?

Same here. This is the only mod that doesn't work for me :S

Love the idea of the mod but I can't get it to work. Is it a issue with the new update or have I written the code wrong?

You're not able to get it working because the Mod system changed. Modding no longer requires you to edit the Bootstrap, just to pop the mod into the Mods folder and forget about it (in most cases, anyway). The modders still have to tweak something on their end however. Since the change was only noted briefly in the patch notes, not to mention it's very close to the Christmas Holidays, some of the modders haven't been able to update right away, but Princeofmar5 is planning to release an update tomorrow.

 

I'm working on the update right now, it will probably be done in a few hours since I'm working on it in what little free time I have.

Ah okay, I did put it into the mods folder but if it was a issue with the update I can see why it didn't work no matter what I did to the text in the bootstrap file

Can you upload the mod somewhere else than on Nexus? That site has some serious downloading issues..

I like this idea, but I don't really have a use for it. The only thing I can't do myself that is included in this is create a crafting station, which I could do, but choose not to go through the trouble of creating. I just make 1 pixel recipes for everything I want. But, if, with the new update, this is possible without editing the bootstrap.config, then I might get it, provided we can craft racial starter items.

Edit- Or have a text file that shows everything that I need to add to player.config, that would work too.

 

The new update does not have you edit the bootstrap file. I've been super busy, but the next update will include all the racial starter items as well as custom recipes for everything.
