"Yes, yes we are. 'Cause that's what was announced before we left port."

 

"I'm honestly surprised there wasn't a debrief."

 

Sime gave a wry smile. "That happens after the mission. The term you must be thinking of is briefing."

 

"I did say debrief didn't I?", chuckling, "I'm honestly surprised I manage to speak at all with how often I get those mixed up, but I'll tell ya this, the debrief, they won't forget that."

 

Tee twiddles her fingers

" Uh Blossom, what all can your staff do? Can it create an electromagnetic field or the such? "

 

"Yeah, well. Just be careful not to bite your tongue, big guy."

 

"Oh that will be a disaster of a day."

 

She tilts her head a bit, "Huh? An electric what?" She seems confused.

 

"Hi, I'm Jack. I'm the pilot and I'm gonna be helping you out when we get to the Vahalia." Says a human that had just come out of the cockpit.

 

"Mind shining some light on just what the hell we are to expect?"

 

I'm not exactly 100% sure on what to expect. The crew did just disappear, so no one really knows what happened.

 

"Good to know."

Simo once more flashed his wry smile. "One big-ass warship and a lot of ground to cover?"

 

"I'm not just gonna drop you guys off either. I'm gonna be staying too."

 

"Plenty of time to stretch the legs, good little warm-up, see just what you brought with ya from the Navy."

 

"Alright, glad to have ya in the crew, but if you don't mind me asking, what's your profession?"

 

"Flying and shooting things. I also have some military training and some training involving ships."

 

"Perfect, I think this little ragtag group just about has every option covered!"

 

Simo shook his head. "Except a medic. No one remembers to bring a medic."

 

"Oh, damn, figures that means my job will be a good one, I mean I've got a field kit but it isn't exactly what I'd call hospital material. Does anybody here have medical skills?"

 

"They are going to have a medical bay on the Vahalia, because there is no way a ship that big wouldn't have medical supplies."
