Vacuum Biome mechanics

    That is, the mechanics for barren moon Biomesand the Asteroid field Biome you can reach by climbing up beyond a plpanets atmosphere.

    IMHO they deserve their own special mechanics apart from the other ones.

    At the moment they work almost exactly like atmosphere Biomes ...
    you can make fire
    you can breath
    birdlike creatures are flying in the (non existent) air

    My suggestion is, to make the mechanics for vacuum Biomes unique:
    • No fire/torches (although you may make electric ones as your tech progresses)
    • You can only visit space with a spacesuit (or not only freeze to death, but also asphyxate wiuthin short time)
    • Either no flying creatures, or special flight mechanics, letting them rather resemble floating movement
    • special set of creature looks making them diffferently lookign from atmosphere based creatures
    • Maybe (with the spacesuit) ability to fly/float for yourself
    • Spacesuit has limited oxygen (so you are forced seeking shelter in regular intrvals [maybe with a special "Oxygen replenisher" furniture to replenish the oxygen in your suit])

    This way we may have the vacuum environments look less like colder normal atmosphere environments, but as unique environments, while still keeping the mechanisms for being there not much more complicated than those for atmospheric biomes

    Agreed. The current state is quite hilarious.
