This is great, making something like a Hall of Fame with the weapons you struck upon your fear-staggered Enemies, Or a Cool-looking Armory.
It truly warms my heart knowing that I have come up with a suggestion that people likes. so lets pray people, so that the devs will notice this thread. PRAY HARDER!!!
Ohhh this makes me miss my Hurricane Staff.... Man, I missed those days in the raids of Wow, when Id Rock Everything Like a Hurricane, being the best DPS ever. For the love of the things that made you what you are today, this should be in game, after all, all that effort should never become obsolete, even if its just decoration now
Now that I think about it there could be stones or pedestals that you could put a sword in for an excalibur look.
I can already see myself building a well that reached into the abyss. It would be a simple well, one that you would think would hold no more than a few trickles of water at its bottom, and think nothing of it. And you would be right, in a way. But, deep inside the well, when a lone sun beam shone through its opening... a blade, perhaps the mightiest blade of all, would be revealed, its scarred body taking root within a cube of ebony onyx, its handle wrapped securely within marred, discolored cloth... Truly a masterpiece.
Terraria had mannequins for armor (head, chest, legs). However, there was no way to display your old weapons. So, perhaps we can have mannequins/suits of armor capable of wielding weapons and shields, in addition to cases and plaques.
Great idea. When you walk into your armory to pick out what weapons to take on your latest dive, instead of seeing a bunch of boring old chests you can actually pick your guns and blades off of racks on the wall or something. It might take more space, but look nicer.
Another idea I cam up for the excalibur stone is it could be used as a switch. If there is wiring like in Terraria then you could use it to booby trap the sword.
I would love to be able to display my old gear! And it would add a lot of options for wall decoration, given the procedurally generated nature of gear!
Makes your house have way more depth. Also let's you show off your valuables. When you mouse over it the item should display stats.
It would be actually great to make a gun (That can be used too) As a decorative item! Although if the weapon once placed, it could be took away to use it as a weapon again in some way, if you actually want to use them? Not like a book on a bookshelf (Or like item frames in minecraft) but like swords on a scabbard? Or something like that.. But this would be incredible when decorating!
