Well, some people have problems with the quest, with more than +25 kill for the superior brains. But i think the problem is simple : we have no use for the inferior brains ... So why can't we have some schematics for use them ? Crafting some brain chest, a brain door or a zombie villager like a mad scientist or Big Ape ? And If we can loot part of monster, the systems can be great to create some sort of zombie pet ... (Frankeinstein ? ) Well, it's just an idea
Interesting idea, perhaps crafting a megabrain by linking several inferior brains to a machine machine that can be used as some sort of helpful AI for your base? It could be used t control other machines to scan the planet for resources or another planet in the system, or to automatically open/close doors for you, etc...
Well, i continue thinking about it. Actually i can't explain exactly what i think because i don't have the vocabulary, so i'm sorry Fell free to correct. The use of the brains can open a large setup and add another dimension to the game. An exemple i have in my mind is the creation of monster for player's created dungeons on multiplayer servers. We will have the possibilities to make some traps, so why don't we make use of brains to create monsters or pnj ? Imagine a workbench who is between the robotic crafting table and the apex interrogation table. The use of this workbench allow us to craft some element to create humanoid or shaped-type monsters based on part (head, torso, leg, arms, special slot). To obtain these parts, a special type of weapons must be used (scalpel, laser scalpel etc ...) in combat. When the monster or pnj die, a random part is dropped with a random quality (like the brain). Assembling these part make a pnj or monster to populate the dungeons. For exemple : Brains - inferior brains. - normal brains. - superior brains. - perfect brains. They become element to use on the workbench, and are allowed to be modified (genetically, robotic, experimental) with tier material (steel, titanium, aegisalt) to obtains a category of brains (robotic, oriented etc ...). These type of brains allow the creature to use some type of AI and the use of capacities with a % of success. If the same system is used for the others element (torso, legs, arms, tails) and based on the monster's biome system, the chance to create the same monsters as another players is near none.
I like your idea of creating your own Monsters, but I don't think that they are going to implement a "create your own dungeon system"... But it is a nice idea for a mod
