Pixel Updated Pony Sprites

I got an offer, from the lovely Flameslash, to create some custom pony skins in exchange for extra copy of the game a couple days ago and ended up spending almost two full days on these beautiful sprites! He requested sprites of Octavia , FlutterShy and Twilight Sparkle. He helped me decide on some of the smaller details, which turned out GREAT, over the past couple of days and I'm finally all finished. I ended up making the Pinkie Pie, Derpy Hooves (Best Pony!) and Chrysalis skins as a bonus (and for fun) for his generosity and support. You're the best Flameslash!

They're nice, well made. I personally wouldn't use them because I'm not much for Anthros.

I need a hairstyle like that though... I need it!

 

Zidonuke mentioned working with IcyOrio on a mod to use the skins once the beta's out; possibly just using the hairstyles could be an option? That would be nice to see as well.

looks great but i can not sure because the walking like humans.
it is like equestriaen girls

they would loke better by walking on 4 legs

 

They are anthro.. <<;; Not feral nor humanized; Completely different. Anthros are meant to walk on two legs because they are bipedal.

 

i know but it works not so good with the original chars from the serie.
it looks to me like ponies that walk on the hind legs with arms and a breast.
for me i think the serie chars works not as a human version it looks strange.
but i dont know how it looks witk clothes

 

The reason why they are not on 4 legs is because you can't have characters on 4 legs in starbound... yet . You would literally have to create seperate art assets for every single piece of armor and wearable vanity item to fit with your quad walking character.

Well I thank you for your feedback but alot of people like the anthro look. Ponies on four legs would look so off in StarBound.

when modding are posible than would it working like in terraria with a 4 leg version

Thanks. I actually got the colors from real show accurate reference pictures. I ended up editing a couple though so they'd stand out more.
