Closed Update Not applying

I opened up starbound because i saw that it had been updated, so i changed my game property to stable instead of beta. However when i launched the game, it said enraged koala, no upbeat giraffe (which is what it said on the launcher). I then uninstalled and reinstalled but the issue persists. Any ideas?

 

I also saw that when i loaded the game. I noticed the new race wasnt there so i backed out to the main menu and it still said Enraged koala...I was really looking forward to playing the new content.

 

For me in the launcher it said Upbeat Giraffe. Maybe we need to do something client- side?

 

Im having the same issue. Tried uninstalling/reinsatlling, but no luck. Maybe theres a file folder that needs to be manually deleted?

 

Maybe. It could something that is preventing the update from applying itself.

 

you think we need to remove the "storage_unstable" folder? btw, pressing escape in enraged koala before the game starts, at the intro, crashes the game.

 

There are some problems with steam, they're working on it, the update has not yet launched.
I assume they will keep us updated.
