Unstable to full release?

Hello all

So, I am way to hype to wait the two weeks for the full release, so i'm now playing on unstable.

I am wondering though, when the full release arrives, will the character i am playing now be able to be transferred to the full version?

I've never played unstable/nightly, always only on the full release, so i am not sure how it works. When i move over to 1.0 on the 22nd, i dont want to start from scratch.

If you're worried about that, I probably would wait to play until 1.0 is out.

 

Aww sadly it was mentioned in a few threads that characters will be wiped. but after 1.0 no more wipes.

 

So when i move to the stable branch i lose everything i've done in unstable so far?

That sucks.

Thats destroyed my motivation now. now i am genuinely sad.

 

I was hoping it would be possible to get the save and copy it over to stable. Isn't unstable right now basically the same that 1.0 will be? I've started playing today.

 

This answers my question. I've been playing both stable and unstable and was wondering what I'd be facing come the 22nd. If everything gets wiped this week then I'll just wait till the 22nd to start over again bide my time with other endeavors!
