Unstable save to stable 1.0?

Is it possible to transfer my unstable character and universe into the stable 1.0 folder?
I know I shouldn't have started from scratch a week before release... now I don't want to do it all over again.

Help is appreciated.

I haven't tried it myself. But i suggest trying to go into "Starbound - Unstable\storage" and moveing the files into "Starbound\storage".

 

So I tried and it seems to work just fine.
I hope I don't miss any new stuff now...maybe I will start a new character eventually to find out.

 

If it was the 1.0 pre-release that you were playing on unstable, it should be fine.

I am playing on my universe & set of characters I made in previewing 1.0

You shouldn't miss anything, unless you actually didn't pick up the torn cape in the intro; which my first character didn't. I knew about it roughly, just didn't know how to acquire the piece of cloth till I ran it with my second character. Oh you meant things added... probably not. Since it is for the most part the same universe, and things added would only be minor touches. So no worries far as I can tell.

 

(Don't forget the flower headwear item).

 

hmmm.... not found that one yet... I'll have to have a look when I next make another character.

Found something similar in a chest though, on some random planet in a flower biome...

 

Good to know. I missed the torn cape, but found the flower. And yes I play the latest version of Unstable. So I will stick to this without fearing to miss some major changes. Thanks alot!
