This Unstable is extremely laggy, making monster fights laughably easy. Please fix this as this issue didn't happen until Nighlty few days ago and makes the game boring and not challenging at all.
Hi, Sometimes when I open the crafting window with the C key in the current unstable version it crashes the game and gives me this error message: "Fatal Exception caught: (GuiException) No such pane in PaneManager::dismissPane" I just wanted to report you that
I just wanted to point out, here, that metadept has confirmed that random starter planets are back in Pleased Giraffe. You can also set (or mod in) a specific planet coordinate in universe_server.config, so we have the best of both worlds: randomized starter worlds and the ability to make it fixed if desired. Aside from the progression changes, I consider this update one of the best yet and I can't wait to begin testing the features in the next version of the Nightly - new item system, here we come!
Hello folks...I'm having an issue with the server as in it starts up...but after it finishes loading I cannot connect neither through 127.0.0.1 niether with my local IP. Any suggestions?...UPNP forwarding I tried with True and False achieving same results.
Usually not a good idea to try and piggyback your issue on a news thread, since you'll likely get buried under pages of replies. You're far better off asking for help in the appropriate subforum. http://community.playstarbound.com/forums/multiplayer.102/
Thank you very much Jonesy...newbie around this parts and figured since this is related to the latest unstable version to post it here...Thanks again
Was the shop bug fixed? It was kind of annoying that a merchant was selling an over-powered gun, but when you bought it, you got something else, an example, a random sword. Seems like a scam to me
I saw nothing about the fossil system. Is that tabled for later? I assumed everything they had put into Nightly up to this point was included in this update.
Such good news. But with the drastic reduction in the ore requirements to forge armors, and ores being available in background blocks, AND them being droppable in the capsule-thingys, didn't you make reaching end-game much, MUCH faster than before? Is this intentional for testing purposes or is this going to change in the future? I hope it will, because it's WAYYYYY too easy to reach end-game.
Oh man I can't wait for the stable update. Aww Yessssss. Though when that happens I'll be torn between Starbound and Fallout 3.
There was a mockup of the fossil interface a few news items ago, so it's definitely in the works to some degree. Just wait until Fallout 4 comes out!
That's good. I remember seeing an update about it but hadn't read much into it. For some reason I am very much looking forward to that getting added to the game. Thanks Jonesy
Ship framerate on current stable, 14 frames per second. On unstable... 14 frames per second. Good work, Chucklefish. I was expecting 7 frames per second.
Welp, my weapons were officially ruined in this update. I used to be able to take down castles, but now I can do no damage to them. This is because my weapons that once dealt 300 damage, now only do 30. Thanks Starbound. So much work for nothing >.>
Quick Tip: If you've been running nightlies recently, you'll need to delete the Unpacked Assets fix from your mod folders to get this update to run correctly.
they have been doing a LOT of work. There's still a few things in developement that's not in the nightly or unstable branch yet. And they also mostly work on performance and optimization these days.
In their place I would just think Definitely not looking at the inventory... Give them some time to see what they have really done.
