    So I saw that trailer about unstable branch and I decided to download starbound again after 2 years of waiting, so I open the launcher and I get an error just before it opens :

    - "L'ordinal 4369 est introuvable dans la bibliothèque de liens dynamique LIBEAY32.dll"
    which means : "The "ordinal" 4369 can't be found in the dynamic link library LIBEAY32.dll"
    .

    Then the launcher opens, I press launch starbound (or launch Starbound OpenGL), the games begin to launch I hear the chucklefish laugh sound and then it crashes and I get 2 error messages:

    - "(StarException) An error occured during loading:
    (TechDatabaseException) Error reading tech config/tech/mech/partymech/partymech.tech
    Caused by: (VariantException) No such key in Variant::get("name")
    ClienteApplication::.PostSplashInitialization()
    ClientApplication::update()
    StarApplicationBase::run()
    _SDL_main
    _console_main"

    - "This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

    I already verified the integrity of the game cache, and tried to run it as an administrator with windows XP config, but it still doesn't work.[DOUBLEPOST=1419644201][/DOUBLEPOST]Just reintalled it, and I have the same problem.

    Similar issue here. I updated from stable to unstable this evening, and I got a similar pair of error messages, tho the first was a little different...

    (StarException) An error occurred during loading:
    (StoredFunctionException) Error parsing StoredConfigFunction descriptor
    Caused by: (VariantException) (VariantException) Improper conversion to int from string in get(0)
    ClientApplication::.PostSplashInitialization()
    ClientApplication::update()
    StarApplicationBase::run()
    _SDL_main
    _console_main

    However!
    I was able to correct this problem by doing the basic four steps in the FAQ (renaming the Player, Universe, and Mods folders, and deleting starbound.config). Seems to work now.

    Just tried deleting the .config and deleting the universe folder but didn't work

    The error points out is trying to get data from a non-existent mech, a... party mech?
    I already checked the unpacked assets and folders and I didn't find that "party mech"
    Try going to your assets folder, look for a "tech" folder, inside of it, must be an empty folder named "mech". If it isn't empty, then clear it

    Rename the mods folder, too. Change it to something like "Stable Mods", that's what i did

    I deleted all my mods and now it seems to work however I still have the first error message about the missing .dll, thanks for the help.

    The .dll errors are perfectly harmless and they won't affect your game in any way. Plenty of people are getting them and the devs are working on fixing them!
