I'll be in both, as I got 0 alerts on the other forums overnight, which never happened to me before 0.o

I guess I haven't been posting a lot there this week...

 

I have a fairly steady stream on both...but, yeah, I assume folks will find a "home" forum and then regularly visit the other side of the community. It's what I do..

 

This is quite a good idea... Keep it up!

 

Anything I can do to help build a bridge between our two communities, let me know. The same praise that people give the official forums over the fan forums, we get over there (in terms of laid back rules, open friendly staff, cleaner layouts etc)... so it's really a matter of personal preference ;] our group is small, but we're tightly knit, and always open to feedback from our community about how to be even better. Really, I'd say our only real weakness is not being the official forum, and thus having a smaller group... the latter is something hopefully to be rectified with the release of the game ;]

 

Good this is very very good. You need artwork though ask Naturallymade to hook you up with something to make this look official

I'll take whatever folks choose to offer....and that is indeed a nice suggestion. If anyone has ideas, let me know....I only know a small handful of folks around here (mostly ex TO folks and a small group of staff)

I don't expect anyone to go out of their way for this....but I do hope it serves as a bridge between the two sites.

Hopefully, as more cool stuff happens, it will become more "substantial".

FYI, I keep a sister thread with the stuff going on here updated over there.

 

The game's not even out yet and there are two forums for it, wow.
It's a good thing I don't play Minecraft, I'm too many forums already.

 

Updated the OP with the winners of the first SBF Art contest. Though we weren't able to offer prizes as epic as the monster monster contest....I think the quality of the final entries is still there. I hope you agree.

I'm waiting for a green light on a prize to offer, and once I get it, I will be announcing a second contest!

I will say this... the deadline will be April 30th, so everyone gets a whole month to work on their submissions!

Thank you Loki for building and maintaining this bridge. I of course am SBF at heart, intradox gave me an awesome opportunity to be involved over there and I cherish the relationships I've built with the other staff members and the community in general. I use these forums for clan business and as a news hub, with the occasional boredom thread or idea, but SBF just feels like home. I hope to see both communities grow and interact with each other more as the game nears release and as more information trickles down to us.

But for some reason whenever i go onto the website it says "Due to inactivity (Paraphrasing) on the forums this has been closed". Is this real? Or is it some kind of elaborate glitch?
On topic: Nice of you Loki ISP to do this.

 

It was an April Fools joke/prank by intradox.

Also, very glad to do it and I hope folks find it helpful on bringing both sides together.

What is this stuff about changing hosts and why diden't we get notified about the fact that we can't get on the forum at this time sooner? Also, what will this change about the forum? I hope nothing will change for regular members :/
