Yeah, proving that ironically you also focus on the negative of the community, quite hilarious too.
The main reason why everyone on our forum dislike this forum is because back then when this forum only started up, after ours mind you, both took our spotlight (but that was hardly the problem) and the forum itself here back then was well...
Let's just say that the mods back then didn't quite know how communities work. I'm not sure how it is now since I hardly browse here, I mainly joined a lottery after Phyrewall replied to my comment when we hit 1 Mil on the official page and the rest is either lurking random pages and mainly the all there is to know about starbound thread.
However, since our forum wasn't really active at all back then, most people decided to check out this place.
That didn't go too well, back then the forum it self took ages to load, and the mods took the rules really strictly, resulting in a lot of bans.
Didn't took too long and the most of us decided that the forum here is loaded with a bunch of asses who take things really seriously, members included, and that got you people to believe that we are also asses.
So now both communities try not to actually have a connection to each other, and making peace is probably not going to with most people since it doesn't benefit them.
So basically one thing leads to another, our forum became a smaller community, yours became a chucklefish forum and not just Starbound, and now we're going to have a war between the two communities until two people from both forums fall in love and start seeing each other in privately until we notice and fight to bring them back, resulting in their marriage somehow.

 

Why is this even still stickied? Its a general indie forum now, not the unofficial forums.

Also, in case anyone wants to know the super short version of the whole conflict, just imagine it as a Syfy original movie:

People Who Like to be Assholes
VS
People Who Like to Act All Victimized

You are welcome to join and give any feedback and thoughts you have.

 

It may be an Indie Gaming forum....but it is also still the unofficial English community.

That is like saying this is no longer the Official SB forum because it is now the Chucklefish forum....but don't let that get in the way of over-simplification.
