WIP Unofficial German Translation

When I open the item I've renamed, the game freezes and closes. Sometimes it happens with the ñ and now also happens with the "áéíóú".

 

You might want to let ConcernedApe know about your project. A German translation has been brought up on a Question/Answers page. He stated that he wasn't working on one because his German was limited but there may be a translation done later. He may like to know about the amount of work already done. It would be cool if this project became the official German release.

 

Considering our idea of quality for the translation, that might be a good idea. We're going to think about it. Thank you.

 

i have made this but i have problem with the display...

I can work with umlauts but they have number behind can anyone help me ?

Not german, but I love seeing a passionate community help translate and spread something they love. Keep up the good work! This can only help stardew valley sell to a wider audience

 

I think so, too. More people get to enjoy the game. And if more copies are sold because of that, why not. CA surely deserves it. The game is really worth translating.

Hi DaGolem, das wird nicht funktionieren, in dem Font des Spiels gibt es gar keine Umlaute. Die haben wir schon eingefügt, es ist nur fummelig das alles schön gerade hin zu bekommen.

Also wenn ich das richtig verstehe habt ihr schon versucht HTML Codes zu verwenden sprich:
a Umlaut ä ä ä
u Umlaut ü ü ü
o Umlaut ö ö ö

Und das funzte nicht.
Und einfach den vorhandenen Font durch einen anderen ersetzen würde dass das Problem lösen?

 

Nein, wir haben das gar nicht erst versucht, weil es nicht funktionieren kann. Wir haben den Font erweitert, das ist an sich nicht schwierig, aber halt aufwändig.

Ich würd gern wissen wie ich diese Zahlen im hintergrund habe ich hab nämlich das mit den Umlauten auch geschafft nur leider eben wie am Bild oben ....
