To be fair, it wouldn't really matter if Starbound had been released or not, that would still be pretty messed up

Maybe you have to get inside, find the computer core (which looks like Skeletron Prime, The Destroyer, AND The Twins combined; which would be an epic troll in my opinion...) fight it, fail several times, then win by shear luck with 1 hp left, and run from the ship as it starts to self-destruct, die from a boulder to the face, and have to do the whole thing over again, without dying, just to see the ending...

THAT would be the ultimate evil! The boss battle, not the boss itself.

That would be one hilarious ending:
You fought monsters, explored ruins, raided tombs, endured hardships, bad weather, heck, you were even chased by man eating penguins and after that you traveled through the perilous darkness between the stars only to find out that the Big Bad is long dead and his Citadel of Doom was taken over by hippies... and one of them pushed the Red Button cause he was hungry from the weed and the button had the word "Launch" labeled under it.

Well i agree with the bug thing. I HATE bugs in space games. especially the mantis from FTL.


Also penguins are AWESOME!

 

Now that I think about it, penguins are quite evil:

I think that they're the perfect evil force for Starbound.
