RP Unheard Screams

"Ugh, that cannot be good for my health." Surge heads towards bright source of light. He has the feeling he will promptly regret this decision, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

 

The lobby is very pretty. Speaking urgently with Dewleaf and co. Is a rather portly looking human woman.
"This is the place your mother owns by the way..." Remarks Bloodbeak...

You aren't able to do anything as one hovership's engine bursts into flames, the other firing its chain gun at you all, the rounds embedding into your flesh in several places.

You are being carried very quickly back into the building by Blætūs. Aüslēira's head in his other hand.
"Diiissspossseeee..."
You hear him murmur...
By this point you've regenerated down to about one of your deltoids.

You manage to nail the first one, throwing it off course. But the other one turns, the chain gun firing at you all. At thousands of rounds per minute, they were bound to hit. The human is most certainly killed, while you and Allestar are thoroughly in pain as you eventually hit the roof of the spaceport with a thud. Your rifle has a bullet denting the butt.

the liquid seeps into your feathers, and numbs your skin as you wade. It begins to get quite deep at your waist halfway to the center...

 

Surge shudders at the feeling, or lack thereof. With sword drawn, he uses the blade to probe the lake floor in front of him as he wades closer to the light, checking to make sure if he had to swim the rest of the distance.

The room begins spinning and you end up losing your balance, splashing into the liquid... You swear you can hear rumbling...

 

Surge struggles to his feet, trying to listen for where the rumble was coming from.

 

Miraa looks around rather annoyedly

" M-my dead m-mommy..... "

Elsie closes her eyes, crying

 

It's definitely the center of the pool, considering the large ripples spanning from the glowing center. It looks quite a bit brighter than you remember...

Bloodbeak puts a flipper against your cheek, drying your tears, before putting it on the side of your head,
"Mirra, Mirra, honey, look at me..."

You hear him murmur something again...
"Devvvouuuuerrrr..."
You feel a breeze... The sound of running water nearby... And a man...
"Huh? Oh it's you. What are you doing here?"
You feel yourself get placed down, before hearing a wet snap, warm blood splattering across your face...

 

"Have I awoken you, guardian?" If he was going to fight, it would best be done on dry land. Surge falls back to the shore, and waves with the chunk of erchius in hand, as an attempt to bait what he presumes to be the guardian.

 

Miraa smacks her flipper away as she runs off

Artyom groans, small cracks spreading from the bullet holes as he sits up. A blue, crystalline liquid pours from the holes, and the bullet holes slowly begin to heal. But he doesn't care about the injuries. He is simply looking at the bullet embedded in the stock of his rifle, and trembling with rage.

Simon shields his eyes against the light with his free hand, and looks around. What is making that light?

 

You can barely stand by this point, the noxious erchius fumes beginning to take their toll. You can see something rise from the water. A massive glowing entity, resembling the mythical erchius ghost. However, it's form keeps shifting, like it's being run through many different filters. It's location keeps changing, and you can't quite figure out which one is the real one, unless they both are.
However, it is definitely getting bigger... Or closer... You can't really tell very well.

There is a stairwell up, an elevator, and broken glass everywhere on one side, that looks like it once sectioned off a bar.

You are in one piece. More bullets tear up the ground near you as the hovership's does another run by.

You feel yourself picked up in his huge claws, now covered in blood... But, when he speaks, the intelligence in his words are more unsettling than his brutality...
"Ffleeee..."
You feel yourself dropped into cold rushing water with a splash.

You hear bullets hit the ground as the hovership does another go past you.

It seems to be coming from the gateway to the next room.

 

Miraa bolts into the stairwell, after climbing up the stairs for a while she sits down. She rubs her nose as she starts to cry again

Elsie closes her eyes as she splashes into the water. The cold water making her cringe

"Yes, sir."

Rin checks his rifle's ammo, just in case the capital was under attack. He glances at the cabby, sad that he cannot repay his kindness.

 

Surge curses the frailty of his body, while he tries to get away from the fumes. He thought the bizarre entity to mostly be a hallucination induced by erchius poisoning; so finding clean air to clear his head was his first priority.

 

Artyom checks to make sure that the rifle is still functional, before getting into a firing position, leading his shots and firing at the engine of the remaining ship.

You feel a soothing hand wrap around you...
"There there... It's okay... She's not dead..."

You duck behind a vent just in time for the bullets to hit. You hear an explosion some distance off as your hovership crashes.

It's chilling, and the current is very quick. You can fell from the sounds that you are now in some sort of large drainage pipe...

There doesn't seem to be any way out of here save for where you came, trapping the heavy fumes in a blanketing purple fog. The ghostlike being is coming toward you...
Except now there's four of them from four angles.

It explodes against its hull, but the ship continues, firing again and opening up new wounds...

Tossing the erchius crystal he was holding aside, Surge tries to ready his sword. "Alright, are you all real? Or naught but illusions..."

 

Artyom is frustrated, but gives up, scrambling behind Allestar to the pipe. 'How are we gonna get a ship with all of this going on?'

Simon blinks the sweat out of his eyes, his fur becoming matted down from the moisture. Looks like there's a whole separate climate in here, what else is there? He waits for his eyes to adjust to the light, squinting against the harsh glare.
