Jumping down from the guardian, Surge also looks away from Finch, gazing into his glass sphere.

You miss all three times... They return fire, a cannon round nearly hitting your ship as it swoops out of the way.

No threats appear.

She mutters something about giving ass more credit...
"I don't like the looks of this..."

You are lurched as the ship moves suddenly, dropping the missile.

You soon feel the scene change to the other area.
"Huh... Doesn't seem that much different..."

 

Surge pulls away the sphere to take a look around.

 

He repeats the process, reloading the 20mm and switching to the chaingun again.

Simon keeps his guard up, no need to show weakness now.

 

It's the other area as you remember it, though without the tall pedestal in the middle.

The gun ends up making a painful noise after a few shots. The mechanics have jammed up.

 

"Something has changed, at the very least." Surge walks to one of the other hallways, peering through the entrance.

Simon looks for anything that could be the entrance to the temple.

 

You can feel heat wafting down from the hallway... It feels like it might instantly boil your blood if you get closer.

Bullets rattle against the hull, cannon rounds barely missing as the ship keeps swerving.

Looking up, you can see the immense temple itself. The entrance at the top.

 

"Hm, I agree. Let us try the next one down the line." Surge steps around that hallway, and peers down the next.
