They seem relatively simple to work with. Though the camera through which you are getting a gunner view is a bit... Low resolution, fuzzy, and has a choppy framerate.

"You can take your guardian with you, if I am not mistaken. One of us needs to be 'on foot' for us to bring the guardian we 'recover' back, so I will be taking that risk."

 

He nods and enters his guardian.
"Since you've got the bigger sword, I suppose that makes sense. So how does this eye thing work?"

You riddle them full of dents, killing the main pilot in one of them. The ship swerving as the copilot takes full control.
They return fire, a few bullets actually puncturing the hill and nearly hitting you or Allestar.

You easily find out that it's just a basic laser guided rocket launcher with smart missiles. A few bullets wizz by your head as they puncture the thinner parts of the hull.
