RP Unheard Screams

"What kind of facts? Ausleir, Despair's successor, Dewleaf, and a whole bunch of law enforcement are ready to storm the place if they haven't already. As far as I know, they're clueless that Terror's in there. I went in just to talk to Lust in an all-or-nothing attempt to get her to release her hosts willingly. I went alone because the others who were there were just gonna kill the hosts and I didn't want them to die. There was a dark rusty walkway that went down, a long hallway with people behind doors that I don't want to imagine, especially since I heard a whip. That's when I thought about kittens because they're adorable before they learn to walk. Then I came to the subway. There was a right and left, but the left ((insert right if I'm wrong, but my brain cinema said it was left)) was the side with the bad vibes. I figured that's where the lexicon was because I figured I'd find Lust. That's where I found Terror. I could hear Lust calling for help. Madness set in, paws came off, bloodloss, something about a self cooking hotdog... woke up, Guardian showed up, fully healed my paws since Mitchell put them back on but they felt funny, Garret got scared, I got a bashy stick with a posh glitch in it, fell asleep, now I'm here. Are there any places you need more specifics?"

 

"Not sure whether or not I'm okay with that, but we don't have a choice..."

The emergency hatch seemed to have already opened...

You suddenly notice the body of the shifter move... 'Sleira seems to have noticed as well...

"We had reason to believe that lust had been set free to this plane. Did you happen to find her corpse?"

 

"Well, Terror did mention something about her being set free, but by that time he had my legs in his tentacles... un... unless those tentacles belonged to Lust and Terror was just a disembodied voice in the darkness. Or was the darkness. It was advanced darkness. I couldn't light it up with my strobe gland." He frowns a little. "But Lust doesn't sound like the sort of thing that would manifest as a mass of tentacles. Maybe some indecent woman, but not tentacles. But what do I know?"

 

"An oddly muted response. I was expecting a little more... emotion." Surge turns to face the direction of the camp, and starts marching.

 

Artyom levels his rifle, but then remembers what happened last time, and holds off on it, instead pulling out the pistol. 'Guy's, the flesh sack is moving.'

 

"Unless she's lost the strength and will to retain her form... I can't believe it..."
He says, taking off his glasses, revealing a pair of glowing red eyes...
"So this is really happening huh... We are at war with someone whom we thought to be our sibling..."

"I just went through god knows how long of just straight agony... I don't have strength for emotion right now..."
They follow.

They all train weapons, except Elsie... @Arra
Another shifter emerges from the body of the bigger one, but this time with dark green skin instead...
"Don't shoot! I'm with you!"
The captain looks ready to shoot him up...

 

Kiro put a hand to his back, "Uh, there's a perfectly logical explan-" before he finished his sentence he grabbed the sabre and thrust the sword furiously towards the guard.

Silverclaw led the way, he kept his weapon close and keen eye out for enemies.

 

"Yet you have the strength to follow a fool who knows little of the path ahead?"

 

'How do I know?' He advances towards the shifter.

 

They're really not subtle with anything... she thought to herself before looking back to the others. "How far away is that? We could try walking if it's close enough."

The guard nimbly leaps backwards, your blade glancing off of the thick armor... He fires back,

But you manage to dodge away.

"You don't... You have no reason to trust me other than my word, and that girl there..."

The apex suddenly stands up, looking at his holophone.
"Too late, our ride's here..."

 

"That works, too." She gets ready to follow him out.

 

"I thought you all were already at war. Something about keeping others in their territory. Water under the bridge now, I'm sure. Anyway, so that tentacle that grabbed my leg wasn't Terror trying to restrain me? It was Lust begging for help?" He bites his lower lip a bit. "I'm... a little conflicted. On the one glove, she's getting what she deserved for forcing others to do her bidding. On the other, I have this overwhelming feeling that had I known it was her at that time, I would have tried to extend mercy and save her."

 

They soon leave the hospital, you can spot an active hovercar out front, a floran in the driver seat.
"Hey Fire-Chaser!"
"Dlosskol you rassscal... You ssstill owe me one..."

"Could have just been her dead tentacle coiling as you move into it... Had it been an Ark like us grabbing you your limbs would have been pulverized..."

 

"Alright, so if that was her body, does that give any hints as to the whereabouts of her lexicon?"

 

Clair would glance at Dloskol as he spoke to the driver before looking to the floran herself. She doesn't say anything and starts heading to the backseats of the vehicle.

 

"It would confirm the location of her gate, which in turn confirms the lexicon to be somewhere within the subway... That much we can discern..."

The novakid gets into the back with you as the hovercar speeds off through the night towards the shop. "So... Who's the cat? Is she one of 'sleira's?"
"Dunno, but she helped us during the raid, and was working for us for a bit while Forgeson was off..."

 

"Clair. Please." She states a bit flat, not appreciating to be called by 'cat.'

 

"Clair eh? Even sounds like-"
She is cut off by a swift elbow from Dloskol...
"Anyway, this is Fire-Chaser, a long time friend and customer of ours..."
"Not to mention pyrotechnician..."

 

"So here's the tough question: how can I defend myself against Terror? My mind felt like it was melting under his influence. If not for my faith in the Guardian, I would have died for sure."
