"We find the survivors... Keep heading down... I'll go with you. You two will stay with broken-face here..."
He says speaking with the two guards, who nod in response.

You're in the elevator shaft still. Staring you in the face is that of some sort of giant lizard with the dumbest looking grin on his face...
"She's not dead! She's not-"
"Yeah yeah I know!"

 

He flies upward to get an aerial view.

" Wait, I need a weapon.

" Uuuuuuhm. "

 

You can see them both running through the sidewalk. The man he is chasing does in fact have a smoking revolver in his hand.

"Then go find one. There are plenty here included as free toys with the buffet..."

The floran knocks him on the head.
"Sorry about that... He's a bit excitable... You got a name?"

 

" Elsie.... "

He holds out his glove and charges up a kinetic pulse, leads his shot, and fires at the man with the revolver.

Artyom steps into the hallway. After looking for any movement, he continues down, looking for the passenger elevator.

 

Clair would tilt her gun some and look at her thumb on her right paw, pressing the button once she hovered her finger over it.

Olan leans heavily on the railing, catching his breath and cursing his negligence of aerobics. With an exaggerated wheeze he lurches up the stairs once more.

 

Silverclaw nods, "Unfortunately..." He turns to Jareix, "I have a question for you, Sallok."

 

Her smile drops into a bitter scowl.
"Oh... So you're the bitch who shot my friend..."

You easily find several different types among the bodies...

You narrowly miss him, instead striking a nearby pedestrian, knocking him into the runner, but also causing quite the scene. This had significantly shortened the distance between the Sallok and him, but he's still running.

You don't find it yet, but you encounter a cultist resting against the wall, still breathing.

You hear a loud whine before you watch the area where you hit the dummy begin blackening and then melting...
"Drat... That still needs work..."

You eventually make it on top of the roof. There is a sniper posted there.

As he is about to reply, a loud gunshot is heard in the back of the restaurant, a bullet narrowly missing Iactus as it embeds itself in the wall near his head. The Sallok and a very familiar looking kineptic give chase...

 

Silverclaw turns to Iactus, "Should we follow?"

 

He swoops down past the person he hit. "Sorry, chasing a murderer right now; I missed." He gives him a quick, passing burst of healing and continues the pursuit.

 

Iactus and Iatalia both leap out of their seats and start running outside to hail a cab.

The floran businessman looks very confused. You still can't seem to keep up following them directly.

 

Artyom trains the rifle on him, and slowly makes his way forwards, calling back into the hallway, 'Got a live cultist guys, get out here.'

 

" Yeah. "

{ Allestar grabs a bladed weapon if he can, then makes his way to Artyom }

 

He flies upward in the general direction of where they are heading. When he reaches about 50 feet, he lets himself freefall. He then uses that downward velocity and uses it to increase his horizontal speed and catch up.

 

he gives you a sad smile.
"*koff koff* heh... If you would do me a favor and kill me, that would be great... Just, heh... Cut off my head before it can be fixed..."
He says tracing a finger along his neck.

She turns and heads back through the, now wide open, elevator door.
"Then do yourself a favor and off yourself for us. It'll be easier for both parties..."
The Kazdra gives you an apologetic look before following her with a sick looking rifle of sorts.

It was a fellow avali, with a modified energy sword... The armor is more or less intact.

You manage to catch up to the runner very easily. He doesn't seem to notice the flying cat directly above him...
