His ears perk all the way up. "So does that mean we're going to go help Allestar now?"

 

{ Allestar tries to spin around and slash at whatever is attacking him with the blade he made using his hand }

"No... Allestar already has the help of three other champions... We are going after the cultists in their own territory... If you want to back out, now is the time..."

 

You feel very sluggish, and you find your arms are restrained... You can sort of hear gun fire, but not really... You are finding it hard to think...

You realize you can't really move. You are very much broken upon the bottom of the elevator shaft... You do spot your ammo bag and gun though...

 

{ Elsie huffs, she waits until she can actually regenerate enough to do something }

{ Allestar begins to try and run around, flipping his lid }

 

"Let's go make this universe a safer place."

 

With the path clear, Surge began his march; he had a moment of amusement thinking about what look would be on the cultists' faces when they saw what was coming.

 

You can move, but it hurts too much to be able to do anything properly.

Your vision returns with a heavy impact against whatever was grabbing you. You stagger backwards and tip off of the edge of the elevator, but manage to grab the ledge last moment. You can see the mindflayer has been sent tumbling down the shaft.
A guard reaches out his hand for you to grab.

He nods and heads out of the club.

After much struggle, you finally break through the super dense tree line. You can now make more headway easier.

 

He follows. "So what's the plan now? Where are we headed?"

Surge certainly learnt to appreciate his normally small stature after pushing through the trees. If it wasn't for the guardian's increased strength, he would have left it at home. He continued en route to the camp.

Artyom breaks out of his stupor and turns around, rifle raised. When he sees what happened, he hurries over, looking to help.

 

She looks at the weapon. "Sounds like a plan. What am I going to be aiming at?"

 

Silverclaw nodded, but didn't say anything. He approached the stakeout place and prepared to get set up.

 

"To the deli. The location of the base entrance is across from it, but I doubt we can go in blades swinging and fireballs flying... We need to plan, and we need a larger force."

He grabs your wrist and hauls you up... When you colapse face first to the floor, he gasps...
"Holy shit..."

Suddenly, a loud crash nearby catches your attention. By now, you could probably move, but it still hurts...

You can soon see the former blaze camp. Now indeed taken over by cultists...

You watch the shifter, who had been latching onto allestar, get his face knocked in and sent falling down the shaft... The guard helps allestar in and gasps...
"Holy shit..."

"Ballistic probe. It will record everything that happens and accurately simulate body physics. Come with me to the firing range. leave the crates behind, but bring the ammo."

The deli seems to be a bit less crowded, but still has people. "I was told there are often stakeouts here, so we should be fine on those terms..."

 

Surge continued his approach, and kept on the lookout for trouble.

 

Several of them take notice of you immediately and draw weapons... It is not long before the whole of them have been alerted...
"State your allegiance fiend!"

 

Surge let out a sour chuckle. "You speak to the champion of Ruin. It is best you stand down, before you do something that you will regret."

 

Artyom stands up and walks over looking to see what the problem was.

 

"It's good we won't stand out too much then. We need to keep suspicion to a minimum. Lets keep and eye out for hostiles bastards."
