I looked at the featured wallpaper of the week #5, and I don't know if it going to be included into the game but I love the idea of an undersea world. (recently joined so I haven't read many threads. I'm sorry if I am repeating anything.) The concept that you reach an planet where the is little to no land mass, but a vast amount of water as far as you can see. As you venture deeper into the unknown the amount of danger spikes. The light you uses to see in the dark depth attracts smaller creatures, which then attracts larger more dangerous creature. Of course in order to make this possible there requires a large amount of item in the game to allow for such voyage: A submarine, scuba gear, etc. There also the wide range of creatures that are able to discovered. As seen in the wallpaper there is this squid like creature and another creature in the shadow. Just like every ocean bottom.. There has to be a sunken ship of some kind! Full of loot and guarded by creature that makes your skin crawl!
Who wouldn't? One moment you are looking at coral to input into your log book and suddenly you are grabbed by a tentacle and devoured by a giant squid. Or you see a shadowy figure in the distance and it turns out to be a giant Big Daddy coming to kill you.
Really? At first sight I thought they were like the other mods and would attack me. (I did not pay attention to instructions in any game ) and even later on I always had an uneasy feeling they would go against the programming of the game and attack me from behind.
If only I was a fraction of how sneaky the Big Daddy are in Terraria in PVP... I wouldn't have died so much
"Hello Station?, I need a submarine drop please" -Space station launches a rocket with a sub in it -Missles explodes above ocean and it drops into the water for you! Onto other stuff, I could think of Air supply, caves where you could refill on air and search for loot, use of glow sticks, melee weapons being unbelievably slow underwater, water pressure etc. I'd be pretty scary when your flashlight's battery dies ~Jake
YES! SPACE DROP! Wouldn't that be the same for range weapon? Since you can't really fire a laser gun underwater. You would just to shooting streams of steam at mod!
Depends if its infrared or not. Also, HARPOON GUNS Plus I'd rather hit underwater monstrosities from far away rather than in my face ~Jake
When I think of harpoon guns, for some reason it bring up an animation to mind. You know.. you harpoon a fish and it doesn't die.... It starts swimming off in the distance.. You tag along
