I was thinking that on some planets you would be able to find pools of oil located underground. You would need some sort of device to harvest this oil and once done you could refine it into some sort of fuel for your ship. I was also thinking that if you throw a flare or something into it the whole thing would go up in flames doing damage to anything that happens to be too close. Im thinking it would look and move like the water does in game, except be black in color.
I like it. If we had a pump we could keep an oil reservoir in your base, and then if intruders come you can pump some onto the floor of your entrance and light it up. I would say due the the thickness of oil, your swim speed should be halved and you should drown twice as fast or maybe 3 times as fast.
THERE IS ALREADY OIL INSIDE !!! dark blue colored fluid , if u throw flare inside u get realy large nuke that blows up 8 times of ur screen in all dirrection , low pc just crash because they cant handle this nuke
I like that idea, maybe the only way you could extract it into fuel was to build a pipeline to the extractor. and then if things go south, use it as a weapon haha. But it also sounds like you would have to defend it from hostiles from blowing it up as well.
This sounds real cool. Oil could also be used to fuel robots and vehicles. Maybe the Glitch could eat it...
I really like the idea of oil being used to fuel vehicles! Maybe only certain vehicles can run on it like cars and planes. Or you could use it to power a generator. There are alot of applications i can see for it.
