Character General Information: Currently at the age of 16, Lily is a girl with a strong sense of independence. Her past caused her to distrust many individuals around her. There is no place that could bring her comfort other than her own ship.

- Body description: Slim but athletic. Similar to the body of one who practices swimming on a daily basis.

Character Biography: Not long before the cataclysm, which stripped Earth's existence away from the Solar System, brought doom upon the human race, a girl was born into this world.

As her parents, two elites of the U.S.C.M., fought against the monstrosity that wreaked havoc upon the planet, she was brought to safety in one of U.S.C.M.'s ships. She grew up oblivious of her parents' identities. She doesn't know their names; she doesn't know what they look like. The crew members, thus, were unable to give her a proper name, and therefore, she was given the title of "Lily Perditus," the Lost Flower.

It is said that the parents and their off-springs are alike. The U.S.M.C. trained Lily during her growth, forcing her with lethal weapon training at a young age. Of course, with this extended period of education under the military, Lily, at the age of 16, earned her title as an Adept Mercenary. Unfortunately, as she was on her way back to the mothership, an asteroid collided with her unit, causing a massive fuel spill. As a result, Lily wandered into the deep space as she drifted among the galaxies.

Lily was muddied thick and unwholesome in her thoughts and whispers, for she had, once again, lost everything. She divided from herself and her fair judgment, and came to the point where her body forgot about the majority of the training she received in past decade. During that moment of time, the ship finally recovered it's fundamental functionality and docked above an unknown planet within the Alpha Sector. A spark of hope glimmered in the eyes of Lily as she saw the ship that had come to a stop.

Right now, Lily is once again motivated. Stepping onto the warp platform, Lily enters a world of wonder, a world of danger, and a world of answers. In this new world, Lily seeks to find the purpose of life, and, at the same time, become the flower that is no longer lost. She now strives to be something that emits its own light. Her current purpose is to pave her own path to her own future.

Character General Info: Male,23, Friendly, kind and funny, likes irony and sarcasm stuff.

Character Description: Most likely any other Floran, except he has one finger missing in right hand, and a scar in the face.

Character Biography: Born as Peaceful Muncher, he was raised with discipline, taught that putting every floran village together could help Floran civilization raise into a new era where they might take an important spot on the universe. After reaching adult phase he became an important diplomat which helped building a neutral zone village called Yggrasil's Shelter, which was supposed to be the most important diplomatic area in Floran kingdom.

Some years later that vilage was raided by apex scum and he was imprisioned. After months of planning, he managed to get out of their thought assigment center killing every apex he could, he took one of their spaceship and travelled far into the universe.
After that incident he changeg his name and decided to seek what Apex were planning and take revenge, this leads him to have crazy adventures and be near death many times.

Character Name: Iam Oil

Character Race: Apex

Character General Info: Female, 29 years old, paranoic, seeks for a freedom like many others Apex.

Character Description: White fur, light-brown skin and yellow eyes.

Character Biography: Iam Oil born in a usual Apex colony controlled by Miniknoq. When her talents as a medic were revealed, she was brought in with some children like her. They were splitted on two halves,one half was trained as spies, others were trained as doctors. When her training was finished, the Miniknoq took Iam to one of the secret labs. She was experementing on usual Apex citizens to develop new methods of healing. When Iam turned twenty-one, she already developed some methods, which were accepted by the Miniknoq council.

Seven years she was experementing, thinking that she's helping Apex people. But, as she grew older, she saw that she's not helping Apex people, but kills them. Only then she saw that her methods were used to kill. When she stayed alone in the lab, she escaped by ship. Two years she was seeking for other Apex colonies to save them from her own studies.

 

Character Name: Razmane Black (Goes by Rax)

Character Race: Human

Character General Info: A thirty five year old ex UCMC commander gone rogue after a failed experiment to integrate glitch tech into the human body. Since the botched experiment Rax has taken to the stars as a bit of a space vigilante/charmer/lunatic. He would describe himself as a psychopath with a soft spot.

He is often traveling, though rarely seen with a quiet albino girl who favors a sharpened blade over a rifle. She is always watching his back and he protects her with a violent fervor.

Over the years he has grown fond of the Glitch culture and when he settles down he tends to settle in castles and the like over anything modern. Though he designs lean more towards the macabre rather then the elegant.


Character Description:
Standing 6'9 with a bulky frame his size is not the most imposing thing about him. When he is relaxed he looks angry and when he's angry he looks insane. Though when he smiles there is a certain warmth to it. Tattoos cover his chest and arms and creep up past his neck and onto the left side of his face.

When he is within cities he can generally be seen wearing a long leather coat, black pants and combat boots. In the wild though he is normally just clad in a floor length kilt (though if you as him he will call it a skirt), arms covered in armor plates, a leather bound book hanging around his waist and his sword on his back.

If he were a gentler man some would say his looks are misleading, in Raxs' case however, you can judge a book by its cover.

Character Biography: Growing up on a small city outside of Detroit Michigan, Razmane spent most of his time bored out of his mind and took to skateboarding at a young age. At the age of 15 he and his first love got the surprise of their lives when they found out that they were going to be the youngest parents in their small town, despite the stress of the situation Razmane was quite happy. Seven months later however these dreams would come to a very dark end.

While at the Apple Fest, a fall festival his small town held, Razmane was having a hard time finding his now wife, curious and worried he went looking. With little luck finding anything he went back and told his friends to get the officers and ran off to see if he could find her one more time. It was a couple hours later when the police came upon him in a barn, covered in blood, holding his young bride and weeping. Next to him lay the body of a younger man, brutally beaten to death by, from what the officers could discern, the broken hoe laying next to his body. His wife suffered multiple stab wounds and it seemed that Razmane had tried to stop the bleed with bandages he had made out of his suit jacket and shirt.

After a long trial Razmane was found not guilty of murder on his plea of self defense. While he was found not guilty the judge ruled that it would be best if he was sent to a military training facility on a in northern Michigan. At the age of 17 Razmane was enlisted in the USMC.

The years past and Razmane had gone from a private to a Gunny Sergeant during pre Mars battles. Due to his extensive training, military school background and exemplary service Sergeant Black was commissioned as Lieutenant Black and given a small Special Forces squad to train and lead in preparation for the occupation of Mars. During the year long tour on Mars, now Cpt. Black received reports to evacuate into deep space and await further instructions.

Finding a small planet to set up on, Cpt. Black and his team constructed a Forward Operating Base, set up communications and awaited further instructions. It was not to long after that communication was established and the team was sent back out on missions once more. One of which was a mission against hostile robots that were come to be known as the Glitch. Shortly after securing the alien tech and delivering it back to command Cpt. Black and his squad were chosen for a special assignment.

Sent to remote a planet in the Gamma sector, Cpt. Black and his unit were tasked with freeing human captives from an Apex research facility, upon reaching the coordinates for the facility Cpt. Black and his team were seemingly lost as there was nothing in sight but an open clearing and the 4 moons the orbited the planet. It was then the gunfire came from the treeline, dropping two of the six before they could find cover. By the end of the fire fight it was Cpt. Black and his XO who went by Bear pinned down in a small ditch that was home to a little trickling of water. Returning fire they both knew this was not going to end well, then the grenade landed. In a quick action Bear rolled over on top of it, there was a pop followed by a wave of red and the black silence.

What happened inside that facility is rarely spoken of by Cpt. Black who in his stay within the facility adopted the name Rax. Footage from security cameras taken from the facility shows that Rax left the USCM the same way he came in, weeping and covered in blood. Now his ship can be seen sometimes in orbit of remote planets, painted red and black and adorned with the bones of his kills. Few get close enough to be spotted and even fewer live to tell what the inside of the ship looks like.

 

Character Name: Rhiannon Adelheid

Character Race: Floran

Character General Info: Rhiannon is a fairly soft-spoken and mild-mannered individual on the surface being oddly timid and civilized compared to the vast majority of her kind. A fan of the arts, talented musician, pacifist, and diplomat she is quite the stark contrast to her more savage kin. In reality though this is little more than a façade used to gain the trust of others as well as to lower their guard. While she is indeed more civilized and refined than her kin the same savagery and aggression lurks beneath the surface simply having been refined and processed into something different. Manipulative and cunning with a lack of a conventional morality and far reaching ambitions she often achieves what she sets her mind to regardless of what she has to do to reach her goal. That is not to say she revels in hurting or killing others merely that when push comes to shove she will always put her own goals above other individuals. As far as she is concerned it is up to them if they wish to be foolish enough to worry about pointless codes of honor and unnecessary ethical issues.

Character Description: Rhiannon stands approximately 5’2” with snow white petals for hair which hide part of her face most of the time. Her skin is a mild shade of blue with teal shaded leaves accenting her appearance. Her eyes like most of her kind are an inky black color with the slightest touch of pigment matching her skin. She tends to appear fairly naïve and innocent as well as somewhat timid based on how she normally holds herself along with her habit of usually having a soft friendly smile.

Character Biography: Rhiannon was born on Floran raiding ship on route along with a few other ships to attack a human colony. Unbeknownst to the raiders, though the humans had been alerted of the incoming attack and prepared accordingly for it. With superior weapons, a fortified position, and more numbers the humans easily repelled the attack killing most of the raiders. While examining the bodies and the remains of the ships the colonists found young Rhiannon barely a sapling in one of the ships having been too young to participate in the battle. One of the humans a former business executive and one of the more respected individuals within the colony decided to take her in. This was not merely a mercy as anyone who knew the woman would attest to but rather it was because the woman saw some potential in the young child. A member of a race filled with a drive and savage nature which had long since died out in humanity as ambition more frequently faded to contentment slowing the flow of progress. Still such primitive methods would not enable them to succeed though if such traits were honed and accented with the proper training it could be quite useful indeed.


Under her new “mother’s” tutelage Rhiannon gained the name she now holds and was trained to succeed. Numerous arts and sciences were ingrained in her young mind and as she grew she was steadily given experience in the field by her guardian. Steadily her training continued till she was deemed to have finished it and was told to head out to make a name for herself whether in the public eye or in the shadows. With only a ramshackle old spacecraft she departed bidding farewell to her acquaintances.

Character General Info: He is a smart and kind Apex, always ready to help others in need. He values life and has a gentle soul. When he sees someone in danger, he drops what he is carrying and runs over to help. He loves jokes and even laugh at it, even if it is a bad joke. He always manages to comfort the creatures around him, he doesnt believe in murder of innocent creatures. To the people of the universe, he gives a helping hand. He is and will always be your friend.
Character Description: He is 35 years old and he has brown skin/fur and a pink belly. He loves to wear casual clothes, He is not afraid to gear up and get dirty. He defeats his fear when it comes to him.
Character Biography: After his birth, the beautiful Apex Jex, saw the beautiful fireflies in the air around him. His mother had to give birth to him as her and the husband walked trough the woods. He grew up to become a smart Apex. He had a great job and was happy until the Humans came and forced them off their planet. Jex had to watch his beloved family get killed, as he took his small spaceship that he had built and flew away from the planet to find another home. Sadly his spaceship came in to orbit around a unfamiliar planet. He sadly crashed and was forced to find food and shelter. He had no clue about how he was going to build and hunt for food. He But he learnt it over time, and now he is a great warrior.

Character Description:He has 21 years,Has a scar runing from his back to head.He wears a black jacket that his dad gave him 3 years ago.His favorite collor's are black and red.He isnt picky ,will eat anything that he comes accros.
Character Biography: Anakin Waldie lived on earth not long before it was destroyed.His father was an astonaut,He came for Anakin when the aliens attacked.They seccesfuly fled the earth.His father launched the ship into an unknown galaxy.Not long after they arrived at a planet.The ships scaner's indicated that it has water and live.As they were running low of fuel they landed.They build a shelter for the night.As he waked up he would find that his father isnt by his side.He started to search for him.And finaly there his lifeless body was he ate the poisonus food and died.He promised to himself that he would explore the whole galaxy and would make a great civilization.As he had no fuel he was traped on the planet for 2 years living of alien meat.Soon after which a member of the apex race came for his rescue.After giving him the star map and fuel,He departed never to be seen or heard from again.

Character Description: Cpt Kirt is a well, really out going chap, really sociable and looked up to by many! One question, who dresses RED and has a nice blonde pompadour hair? Well, its of course Cpt Kirt! Taking the best of style and comfort, he dress not only to impress but to feel great himself.
Character Biography: Since young he was the only child, deprived of loved, care and a little friend he could talk to. Ironic.

 

came across this place, been looking for a decent roleplay server so i figure i will at least try to join, i apologize if i have bad punctuation as i was never really taught any while in elementary school but the spelling should all be accurate.

i will do the best i can for his biography but i dont know the story ofthis particular roleplay server so i will just try to base it around what little i know of the lore of the vanilla starbound universe, i didnt plan this out a week ahead so i just came up with it on the spot, i hope it is good enough for the level of quality you guys are looking for here.

Character Name : Mycroft Macarthur

Character Race : Human

Character General Info : Mycroft is a man who is very Industrious and hates not having some task to accomplish, he can always be seen tinkering with some form of machinery or experimenting with new powder loads for his bullets but he was never considered to be particularly gifted at it, he is very meticulous when it comes to all the duties expected of a soldier and you will never find his equipment in a state of disrepair and indeed it seems a profession he was well suited for, he tries to always be the first one in as he prefers close combat fighting anyways, always preferring a shotgun or some form of melee weapon to the chagrin of his superiors and comrades who think him a suicidal nut, outside of soldiering he can be considered dense and blunt as numerous subtleties are lost on him, while it can be taken for rude or brash demeanor Mycroft only wants to "get to the point" of anything, lastly while he is always seen carrying some form of two handed melee weapon he has no actual training for such, swords long considered obsolete in human armed forces and he tends to wield them as one would a baseball bat rather then with the grace of a true swordsman.

Character Description : he is 34 and considered to be a heavyset man, save his eyebrows there does not appear to be any hair on his head at all and indeed his skin tends to maintain a well shaven appearance, his torso seems to be covered in many long deep scars and dark spots likely indicative of wounds from numerous ranged and edged weapons but if they at all impair him he does not behave it, rather he seems an exceptionally healthy specimen for a human and his movements always seem to flow seamlessly into one another as if he is well drilled and at least somewhat alert, he is likewise always wearing some form of Battle Dress Uniform or Body Armor, owning very few civilian clothes, truly being of a rare breed, men who well and truly love war in spite of the darkness it brings out of people, while he does his best to remain clean at all times he always smells of gunpowder and oil from the various tasks he is assigned to work on.

Character Biography : Mycroft was born in Dallas Texas on earth in the old United States and had an otherwise unremarkable childhood, he did poorly in his studies as he felt that they were largely a waste of time and did not see where he would need algebra or american history anywhere in whatever future career he chose, he was in danger of failing and forced to repeat high school when a recruiter for the U.S.C.M. came to his class one day, instantly he was taken in by what he was told he could expect in the armed forces, surely he would lead a far more interesting life and be far more useful to others by fighting to protect the freedoms and liberties human beings enjoyed then he would behind an office desk in some corporate building, he would speak to this recruiter in private afterwards and it was made known to him that he was wasting his life, he was told his test scores would need to improve if he wanted to enlist and almost immediately he began to turn his life around.

unfortunately his scores while good enough to enlist were not considered high enough to make him a very good soldier and after graduating from the paris island facility he would spend his first few years on mere guard duty for a military base in Kings Bay, Georgia where he was not well liked by his fellow soldiers, being something of a loner, having difficulty with a job which amounted to "stand around and watch people all day" he was not a very good guard and he began to at first spend all his off duty hours experimenting and tinkering with the various components in their provided weapons seeing if he could improve them, until eventually he was spending his ON duty hours doing so, he was at risk of being dishonorably discharged when one of the mechs used to transport cargo went haywire and began wrecking expensive equipment throughout the facility, Mycroft would risk himself to board the vehicle and shut it down, when asked who taught him about the inner workings of the machine he replied that he taught himself, seemingly he impressed someone as the next day he was transferred to maintenance at the Mars City Facility.

there he would enter something of a routine as he had been given duties he could "really sink his teeth into", there was some kind of action on mars and the troops were always breaking their vehicles and equipment, he never had a shortage of work as whatever seemed to be going on only intensified, it eventually came to the point that they could no longer expend the time to send equipment back for repairs, it would need to be performed on the field and as such he was sent to the front lines.

being a mere "Wrench Monkey" Mycroft was able to get away with a few infractions, modifying his uniform, swapping the standard issue rifle for a shotgun, carrying equipment he didnt technically need into the field...as long as they didnt impair his duties or the duties of his comrades no one seemed to much mind his somewhat eccentric nature, there were groans every time he pulled a "Leeroy Jenkins" and charged into the fray but this job seemed to fit him like a glove for years, he would make Sergeant and be given command of his own squad before long.

that would come to an end when there were given orders of a Mass Retreat, an unknown extraterrestrial life form had begun to attack earth and mars and someone in their command structure deemed victory impossible, while his squad was attempting to evacuate civilians they came under attack from an unknown tentacle like entity, refusing to abandon the civilians they would engage the enemy, their weapons seemingly ineffective all but two were slaughtered, mycroft would drag them to their escape craft where they died of their wounds.

he would attempt to make contact with other U.S.C.M. forces in system but he could not reach anyone, as if he was the last one left, rather then give up he would continually search every channel until he began to pick up U.S.C.M. signals on the emergency band originating from well outside the Sol system in deep space, he would plot his course for the nearest one and has been travelling since.

he has not made any notable success in regards to regrouping with other human forces, for reasons as of yet unknown they always attack him upon meeting as if they had gone mad, otherwise the few humans he encounters appear to be like him, survivors of the cataclysm which destroyed their home, lost wandering the galaxy searching for something, other survivors, a new home, treasure amongst the stars or just a new life, no one ever stays and he resumes the search anew, occaisionally he might encounter a glitch or apex village where his mechanical aptitude is welcomed with open arms, he may stay long enough to do some trading or peform a few favors in exchange for goods, fuel or whatever happens to pass for money at a given location before he leaves again and once again tries to make contact with what is left of the U.S.C.M.

 

Character Name: Tent Farley
Character Race: Human
Character General Info: 30 years of age. Excitable, but able to maintain his cool and serious composure when the situation calls for it. Easily driven to anger by the mistreatment of others (re: oppression, enslavement, etc)
Character Description: Approx. 5'8', brown of hair, blue of eyes. Likes to dress well, but will don armor when combat is necessary.
Character Biography: Tent was a substitute high school teacher before being forced to flee the earth. He had a difficult time with the situation at first, but it has made him stronger. In the face of adversity he realized his true potential, and now seeks to explore the great big universe helping those who cannot help themselves.

 

Character Name: Dror Songpraiser

Character Race: Avian

Character General Info: A 21 year old male Avian, with a bright personality. Among his tribe, the Songpraisers, Dror was raised and trained to be a strong and fierce warrior, but not of his own choice. He was a gentle bird by nature, who secretly wished to explore the vast world beyond his village, driven by his curiosity.

Character Description: Dror has light grey feathers, soft plumage and a small, shy beak. His body is slightly muscular, developed by his training, but he is also nimble, one of the best Featherball players among his team, one of his village's passtime activities.

Character Biography: The Songpraisers were a typical Kluex worshipper tribe, living far off in a small, warm planet in the Alpha Sector. Dror was raised to be no different than the rest, either a warrior, or a priest. The former being what the archpriestess foresaw on the clouds, on the day of Dror's hatching.
He was since a young hatchling, prepared and trained to be a warrior, to defend his kind and protect the temple of Kluex. His training proved to be efficient, as at early age, he could stand up to the older hatchlings at spearplay and other martial practises.

However, when looking at the vast ocean of stars at night, Dror knew there must be something more out there, than the secluded life at his village. Ideas that were inspired by one of his friends of a common mindset.
Dror first heard of the Grounded as a group were rumored to have settled in the woods nearby to the Songpraiser village, at the time he was of age to joining the Kluex Temple as a guard. His fate would be sealed as it was foreseen, if nothing was done to change it.

The night before that, he escaped the village with his friend Kizen, an orphan who was looked down for being too "spirited". They sneaked into the camp of the Grounded and managed to steal one of their spaceships, with little knowledge of how to operate it, they set off towards an unknown planet, in hopes to find the truth about Kluex, and if the rumors of other Avians who lived freely were as true as the Grounded they just hijacked a spaceship from.

I understood and read the guidelines before composing my story. I personally believed that a child character would be someone who is much younger, and the age of 16 is a rather nice age for a character to develop as the roleplay goes on in the long run. As I've mentioned in the story, Lily currently seeks the answers of what life really is; since she's an adolescent, I felt that her views would be greatly influenced by the environment in comparison to how an adult character evolves as the RP progresses. Though, I would edit the story to fit the requirements more if I am permitted to do so.

 

Character Name: Edward Three
Character Race: Glitch
Character General Info: A lone traveler with memories which are not his own and a desire for that which he cannot obtain. Age is unknown, but is estimated as no less than 600 years.
Character Description: Edward Three is a Glitch, and a simple one at that. He is extremely attached to his biological past, however, and tends to wear all sorts of clothing. When possible, Edward even wears posh garments to remind himself of "his" past as royalty.
Character Biography: Imprinted with the personality and memories of a king from a long forgotten kingdom, Edward had been launched from his planet of "birth" shortly before it was destroyed. Since then, he has been searching the galaxy for something that he cannot describe. A companion, perhaps, or a home. Sometimes, forgetting that he is but an imprint on a machine, he yearns for the pleasures of life, only to remember the tragedy of his situation. Edward is therefore both hopeful and desparate, which makes him a bit of an eccentric in the eyes of strangers.

Character General Info: Cocky space adventurer in his late 20s

Character Description: Green eyes, long orange hair and stands taller than most

Character Biography: *Edit* Randasan was a traveller, someone who took his worldly goods and sold them for a chance to find their true meaning in the world somewhere, he let go of his ties back home in the city and started taking bus after bus, and plane after plane, until he found a city he felt he needed to explore. From this, he gained few friends, but those few were true, and mostly spent his money. He worked odd jobs and often found himself to be a mercenary of sorts, mainly a bouncer type deal to scare someone or to deliver materials from one place to another. The lift suited him, but it soon led to him feeling more lost than rich in self discovery. *edit*

The sudden destruction of earth came as a surprise to the travelling man. Taking the closest ship to him, he stowed away inside the cargo bay and eventually made it to the first planet. The ship had landed on an uncharted but pirate populated planet. The ship's team debated and finally decided to stay on the planet to inhabit it as their new home, and formed up teams to take on the pirates. Once a camp was cleared out, Randasan took this change to take a warp from a pirate to their ship and took off, still not wanting to be found as a stowaway.​

 

Ok, so would it be kosher to have him discard his gear in an attempt to shake his past, but his programming slowly forces him to resume his previous state. Character Biography:He was born Anakin Waldie grew up in London UK.He was always fascinated by stars and exploration as he was litle he used to play video games a lot.He wanted to become like his father who was working as a star ship builder.He finished engineering and mathematical sciences in London.He then got a job to work in the new model of starship that can travel double the speed that the normal one could in that time.He is very shy around girl's to this day.And so after 4 years he finished the ship.It was a ground breaking desing.He then made his own company called Delphis.After that he became a milionare and got a world sceince nobel price.One morning something waked him up.It was a earthquake.After looking out his window he could see that a large tentacle has goten out of the ground.He called his father who was in New York in that time.He couldn't reach him.He decided to use his spaceship he had a crew.As he flew over the city he was crying.He flew to New York to find his father but it was runover by tentacles.There it was a litle one of those thing's in the street as he was a scientist he decided to take it on board which would prove fatal later on.They flew out of the earth orbit and he would watch as the planet was covered in tentacles.He started to cry as he feared he would never see the earth again.He promised that would one day return. they engaged hyperspeed .The next day he went to the storage area where he would find that the door were sealed and the alarm was on.He opened the door via the general ship computer.He found out that the alien he brought in was fully grown and has already eaten his whole crew as they were fighting the alien.So he quckly opened the airlock and let it out in the space.He watched the video that his camera filmed.He would cry as he found out they were fighting to seal it away from him.So that he would survive.He beamed down on the planet and started searching for Fuel.To this day he is looking for a civilization.
