Character General Info: A 25 year old glitch, prepared to fight. He sometimes spaces out and lashes out in random outbursts of anger, but he's normally a great guy. Good pilot, a bit of a merchant from where he comes from, and knows when to step in to defend his friend or ally.
Character Description: As said before, 25 years old, and wears a bat ear like attachment on his head. Black paint job, red eyes, and black clothes. Likes the color black for security reasons.
Character Biography: When he was created, his first thought was to seek out his purpose. Well, not his FIRST thought, but definitely the one he lives by. When he was 15, he went traveling around the simulation, until the glitch. When an unknown enemy attacked his land, he secretly boarded a ship and flew off, leaving his planet and his people behind. For the last ten years, he's been a sort of gun for hire, as well as a merchant. When he was about 20, though, he had his first taste of real action. Some Hylotl hired him to do some protection of a package from a squad of armed men. What they decided to leave out was that the men had high caliber sniper rifles and pistols, so Vyrus had to do some quick thinking, and shot the leader in the leg. The rest of the fight was basically loud sounds and screaming, but he got out of it alive.Every now and then, he looks back to his first want, which was to find his purpose.

 

Character Name: Featherhead
Character Race: Avian
Character General Info: 25 Cycles, curious and adventurous he loves to explore ruins and fight exotic monsters and sentients.
Character Description: Black feathers, with a widows peak and a white face, he wears a red tribal costume.
Character Biography: Born on an uncharted planet into a small Avian tribe located near the wreckage of an ark ship he was the second son of a hunter. He was sent on his first hunt at the age of 15 with 7 other hatchlings of his age where he chased a beast into the ark wreckage and accidentally rebooted the systems of the ship and triggered the distress beacon, believing he had awoken some strange spirits he fled from the ship. One member of his hunting party saw him running from the wreckage and tells the elder what he saw, the elder decided to hold Featherhead in a hut to sacrifice him to the spirits he angered. Before the day of sacrifice was upon him an avian rescue ship entered the atmosphere over the wreckage and identified the tribe, the rescue ship forced the tribe members into a quarantine holding cell for socio-scientific research. After 3 cycles of research and societal integration the members of the tribe were released and Featherhead was unleashed into the galaxy at large.

 

Character Name: Andiran Jalique
Character Race: Hylotl
Character General Info: Male, 47 years old, very friendly to every species, often blanks out, lost in his thoughts.
Character Description: Light purple skin, with a green belly. Yellow fin, blue robe.
Character Biography: When Andrian was 17 his parents sent him to a self-defence school, for his childhood dream was to explore the universe and they wanted him to be able to defend himself only in an emergency. At age 23, Novakids attacked his home planet, forcing Andrian and his family to retreat to the stars. Over time, his siblings and parents died, and he was left alone.

Author's note: Since my previous character was deleted in the update, I decided to try a new character.

Character Name: Sam Adams
Character Race: Human
Character General Info: 23, is looking for a way to leave his mark on history, constantly travels trying to find something to inspire him, with a strong eye for aesthetic appeal he makes sure everything he works on comes out looking perfect. Spends most of his time just traveling across random planet surfaces, looking for perfect spots to set up a town before moving on.
Character Description: always wears a smile and always stands up tall, keeps himself as clean as possible and always wears something a bit classy when he can, usually purple with a nice black to contrast.
Character Biography: After spending most of his time traveling around with his family who scavenged and then sold items across space, Sam finally set out on his own. He began by doing what he knew, traveling and selling, but after a few years he realized that his true love was for well crafted homes and buildings, so he started setting up his own trade-hub towns in order to both fuel his enterprise and his love for aesthetics.

 

Ouch. Went to take a nap, then I realized I was going to be bogged down again because of a mis-read.
I said earth. Not Earth. My impression of Florans was that they wouldn't particularly become attached to planets, or names. Or be that creative with them. The hunk of 'earth' labelled, as stated (I suppose a touch vaguely, but it should be clear enough) is nothing but a planet with a lot of "earth". It's not the human planet. They just called it "earth". Or maybe I should've said "Rock" "Dirt" or the like.

 

Character Name: Pocket
Character Race: Apex
Character General Info: 21; quiet, reserved, and analytic. Somewhat of a know-it-all due to his intensive research, self reflection, and meditation. He has indulged himself in research of computer interaction in order to "think like a machine". Because of this, he fascinated by the Glitch and befriends them easily. He doesn't have a positive relationship with humans because of his past.
Character Description: Brown skin and dark black long and curly fur. He dresses very organized and collective in conjunction with his demeanor. He is still very young so because of this, he conflicts with impulse and spontaneity opposing his organized nature. He spends all of his time in doors and playing with tech. He wants to use his knowledge in computer interaction in order to live a life where man-power is no longer needed.
Character Biography: Growing up, Pocket was always the outcast and often ostracized himself from the world in order to completely indulge himself in his research and technological interest. Due to this, he has developed a really anti-social atmosphere. When he reached the age of 20, he was able to completely design and build a functional ship which he used to travel around his planet without the knowledge of his family. However, during one of these joyrides, his ship malfunctioned and jumped into a lightspeed loop. The ship remained in lightspeed until the fuel gauge emptied and once his ship finally came to a stop, Pocket was completely unknowledgable of his whereabouts. He is currently focusing his energy in understanding what exactly went wrong with his ship, as well as learned his new environment.

 

Character Name: Sylvanus Fletcherson

Character Race: Avian

Character General Info: 22 year old avian, earth years. 8 in Beta Arne et II years. Loves the arts, even arts from different worlds. Considers himself a traveling minstrel, despite his birthrights. Two faced; Merrily sharp of tongue one moment, serious and emotionless the next. Cares little for those other than himself and his good acquaintances; the kind of person who would let a starving man along the road die, but travel worlds for the sake of the ones he loves. His weak, lanky, appearance is a lie. He conceals surprising strength and agility, which he keeps hidden like the dagger in his boot. Loves speaking in riddles to confound any he meets, also loves to give people the idea that he knows more than he's letting on(which is true most of the time) His years of royalty have left an impression on his demeanor and personality

Character Description: Approximately 2 meters tall. He bears jet black feathers with a white underbelly; the sign of royal blood in the Arnean Kingdom. Possesses an impressive upright plumage that commands respect. Greatly resembles Amadeus Fletcher, the founder of the Arnean kingdom

Character Biography: Leaning leisurely back in his very own "captains chair" Sylvan continued to make colored scratches on the blank old book.

My name is Sylvanus Fletcherson. Honorary holder of the title "most pleasant thing to look at in the universe." Enough of the introductions, let us get to the point

Sylvan stopped and looked over what he had written. Who exactly was he talking to? Did he really expect a random stranger to randomly come across the random journal of a random renegade on a random happenstance? The chance he would even meet anyone else entirely was a false hope at this point.

Oh yes. I am also the heir to the throne of the Arnean kingdom. No matter it is quite a dreadful place as it is. They won't be missing me. In fact, if they really cared about keeping me there, they would've fashioned more decent locks, and shouldn't have stopped at just doubling the guard. Pitiful I say. I'm surprised they haven't followed me. I suppose they DID just post the law stating that all intergalactic transit has been banned.

Sylvan paused. For a moment. tapping his quill against the command console.

Enough of that. Time to leak the truth. shall we? Regallante, my father only THOUGHT he had destroyed all historical accounts. I know better. you cannot erase history, especially when it is carved into the wall of the hidden throne room chamber that even he doesn't know about. Amadeus Fletcher came to Arne to seek liberation from the false Idol known as Kluex, and its followers. And what then, may you ask, WHAT THEN? Are we, the Avians really so foolish as to repeat our own mistakes? What would Fletcher think of his grandson, if he could see him, bringing back the practice of wing clipping? Re founding the worship of Kluex, only under a different name?

Sylvan didn't notice his anger before it was too late, and he broke the quill in his fist. "Dear me," he said "I won't need to molt at this rate" He reached up to the back of his head and plucked another quill.

In all seriousness, though, Kluex (or Circet as they like to call him now) can go peck at a novakid's flaming █████ (drat. I spilled the ink) for all I care. History, as they once said, is doomed to repeat herself. So I'm off. to right the wrongs of my ancestors. And make a name for myself on the side. I am quite skilled with any instrument if I do say so myself and my voice is lovely. Why just the other- oh dear!

For a short moment, Sylvan chirped in amusement when he realized he had actually written the words "oh dear" as he thought them. Then he addressed the cause for the exclamation. His ship had run out of fuel while he wasn't paying attention. Fortunately the automatic protocols of the ships AI made it get in orbit of a nearby planet before becoming immobile. "Now seems as good as ever of a time to stop. Let us see what we can find down there" he mumbled. Gathering his belongings, Sylvanus teleported himself to the planet below.

 

Character Name: Cairus. Last name unknown.

Character Race: Human

Character General Info: He used to be a very care-free, humorous person, always laughing and talking. After witnessing the reality of the universe, new philosophical thoughts entered his mind and he now is sobered and thoughtful. This does not mean he has completely lost his humor though. He will not kill unless it is necessary for his survival or the survival of another, often keeping a level head to best assess all situations.

Character Description: He has medium length hair that is pushed up to keep it out of his face. He is not incredibly remarkable in appearance, but he is certainly not ugly. Often he wears a solemn expression, as he is usually thinking. When holding a conversation, however, he will liven up and become more cheerful looking. He stands at about average height, and is fairly healthy.

Character Biography: Simply living as a human being was never enough for Cairus. Living among all the others, being simple beings. He longed to comprehend the universe and what could be out there, beyond his tiny gaze. In the great unknown laid new species, new environments, new experiences. When Cairus was looking on his thirteenth birthday, it was announced that on some obscure far off continent, an apparently deadly parasite had been recorded. Over fifty deaths had already been confirmed. Within the next several years, the obscure parasite became a rapid pandemic, taking to seas and razing cities. Prosperous metropolises turned into tepid slums in a matter of months. When Cairus was just becoming an adult, entering his twenties in one of the few remaining safe havens, it was predicted that all who did not take to the skies would be ended, defeated by this new organism. When Cairus's father was determined to be infected, he retrieved all of their savings and purchased a space ship, urging his son and wife to get off this god forsaken planet, and make a new life somewhere safe. Devastated, the two boarded the space ship and made for the next planet over, also occupied by survivors of the pandemic. There Cairus left his mother, in safety, and went off to explore the universe, not knowing if he would ever feel that he belonged anywhere again.

 

Character Name: Reimu Hakurei
Character Race: Human
Character General Info: Reimu is a shrine maiden from Earth who was displaced when the planet was destroyed. Although her exact age is unknown, she somehow manages to maintain the appearance of a woman in her early twenties despite maintaining her shrine for much longer.
Character Description: She has long black hair that she keeps tied up with a red bow, and generally wears a traditional shrine maiden outfit. Before her shrine was destroyed, she spent much of her time maintaining her shrine in between dealing with youkai extermination. Although Reimu has the appearance of a frail girl without any experience in battle, she is powerful in her own right.
Character Biography: Acquiring a ship from the gracious Lunarians, Reimu now seeks to rebuild the Hakurei shrine and to reestablish the link to Gensokyo. It is not known whether this is possible, but if it is, she will do everything in her power to do so.

While Shrine Maidens are in many a Anime this is actual real job so just because they they mention Shrine Maiden doesn't mean it is immediately a Anime person (Do not bare in mind his Shrine Maiden Anime Avatar)

Youkai are the supernaturals of the Japanese myth and legends. Back in the Edo period they had hunts for Youkai to Exterminate them where they used Shrine Maidens and Monks in the Christian sense it would be for a Priest or Pastor banishing a Demon or helping spirits pass on. Anime writers and Mangaka write about the legends created by their culture so this would mean that Youkai extermination would be something that had nothing to do with Anime or Manga till people started making stuff about them.

The power with in could be the power that all religious priest/monks think they possess that was given by their god(s) this really is only in a Anime sense when this power cause explosions and combats spirits like a magic battle.

 

Guys let's not debate semantics on a thread meant for applications

 

Humanity's home planet has been destroyed, forcing them to flee, while a race of plants are raised to technological advancement - which results in mass genocide of the other races. Meanwhile, the Hyotl are running amok in space Samurai gear, and the Glitch think it's cool to move through space with medieval gear and steam-punk ships.

Sure sounds like a generic anime plotline to me
