Character Name: Renn Dairu

Character General Info: Dairu never looks for confrontation. even when he finds it he normally tries to escape to safety . Very cautious of all Non-humanoid life forms. Thinks all humans should stick together, and share in the spoils of the universe. Dairu cares for life but, does not feel compelled to protect life ...other then his own life and the life of his friends .

Character Biography: Renn Dairu born of Human blood , is the son of a Female pirate captain, Aether Dairu . He has no knowledge of his father. Renn grew up watching his mother steal, barter and sale valuable ores & outlawed substances , Highjacking freighters, cosmic yacht's or what ever vessel's she deemed valuable . Dairu studied the Underbelly and his mothers chosen trade . As he grew older , Renn learned and understood the pros and cons of his mothers pirate life. While the life had its rewards on good cycles it's more pixel then anyone could count. The cons weighed on him heavily . Mainly living with out the affection of a mother . For Aether being a mother was not an option , love was a sword to her enemies throat and a cargo hold filled with precious ores and spices . Renn was not cut from the same cloth as his mother, and at the age of 15 he left his mothers ship with nothing but the clothes on his back and a few pixels .
The Problem Dairu encountered was all he knew was crime and it was very difficult to make a honest living when you don't have any skills ... other then picking pockets. For the first 3-5 years off his mothers ship he worked as an errand boy in the Sol system, trying to get an understanding of civilized society . To his surprise he found that most of the underlining in civilized society was similar to piracy, in almost every way. The lifestyle he lived only made him want to revisit the fast life. He also missed the thrill of a heist or maybe he missed his mother. Either way Dairu was starbound. He then spent the next 10 years using the tools he learned while traveling on his mothers pirate ship. Also building his funds to purchase his own vessel. Not to become a pirate... and follow his mothers path. But to genuinely find his own. whether that be the life of civilized or pirate... or somewhere between .

 

Also, apologies if we skip over some apps, we've got like... 5 or 6 mods now, most of which have work or school, and it's still hard to get everyone due to how many of you are applying! [Not complaining, though!] So, be patient. Sorry if we have skipped over anything!

And, just a side note, don't try to start drama and complain over being denied, just comply with what we say to do and reapply. It's not that hard, and is easier on everyone.

Shy, somewhat short human in his early twenties, has a hard time trusting (and using) more advanced "machines", since he was raised in a conservative family back on earth,
however, he is still fascinated and interested in technology. He says he does not really care for exploring the universe unlike other humans, but secretly he would love a big adventure.

Character Description:

Very pale, long brown hair, blue eyes (uses contact lenses), below average height (f/ human), somewhat Germanic/Nordic accent, will probably be seen unshaven, however when he does shave everything goes!

Character Biography:

Bjorn was raised back on earth in a pretty conservative family, even though humans were (and still are) highly technological, his family taught him that it's the simple things that matter, and so he was raised almost in a late 20th century kind of environment, however he did come in contact with computers and machines through school and it was almost impossible not to be aware of all of the things going on at and around earth.

He always used to look up at the stars as a kid, and even though it became more and more common for humans to venture into space, his parents would not let him study the required subjects. When disaster hit his father somehow got him on a transport ship, this confused Bjorn, he would've though that his parents would want him to stay on Earth where he was raised no matter what, but he was glad he would finally be going up there with stars.

For several years Bjorn has lived on different transport ships working for food and somewhere to sleep, but eventually one of the ships got raided by human pirates, luckily for Bjorn, there were enough escape pods so that even he could escape. But now he finds himself hungry on an automated escape pod sailing though space, this isn't what he imagined when he said he wanted to be "up there with the stars".

Character Name : Professor "Reenos" Startooth

Character General Info : First glimpse, friendly and gentle Apex who sometimes is a little bit crazed. If known better (Spoilers): Trying to convince other Apex about the failure of the MiniKnog and his Society. He got no problem to walk over their dead unconvinced bodies if necessary and has sworn to himself to bring war to the MiniKnog by assembling an Army that crushes the Apex Society for once and forever.

Character Description : HT 6"00, WT 213Lbs, Fur Color : Brown, Skin Color : Tan, Eye Color : Black, "well-feed"

Character Biography : Startooth was born and raised in the Apex Society by his Parents for the Glory of MiniKnog! He claimed the title Professor with several other friends of these old Times and worked in the Laboratorys with them to bring the MiniKnog more Glory and so the Apex Society. Everything went well, but since the last questions asked by several prominent Apex, which lead that they where selected for the VEP, Professor Startooth started thinking little bit more, tried to look behind the Glory of the MiniKnog and the VEP. He started to ask questions aswell, at the beginning there was no problem, all for the Glory of the MiniKnog. But the questions became more specific, questioning the System. After this point reached everything went down.

They put him under arrest, for his own good they said, to silence him. Called him an Outsider, a non-believer. This was the point where he put his name down and started to call himself "Reenos", nobody knows where this idea came from. They decieded relativly fast to contribute him to the VEP for the great Glory of the MiniKnog and to silence him forever. But before these happens someone offerd him an escape and a little bit crazed from the arrest but not completly nuts, Reenos accepted and took the chance, swearing revenge to the MiniKnog and his Apex Followers, even if he hadn´t a clue who it was who saved him.

And so his journey begins...

 

Youre going to want to put that in to their format. They also arent taking characters younger than 20.

Character Name: Pocket
Character Race: Apex
Character General Info: 21 years old, and tends to come off as a cocky know-it-all due to his high knowledge and efficiency in human computer interaction. Has a very strong personality but is very giving when compassion is indulged.
Character Description: He has dark brown skin with black bushy fur. He stands very intelligently and his demeanor gives off a "holier than thou" vibe at times due to the way he walks. He is fairly short and enjoys wearing bright colors
Character Biography: Pocket got separated from his family after the Apex invasion, however, instead of entering a ship that had no fuel, he teleported into a ship that was moving at light speed; this caused him to go into a coma in which he doesn't wake up from until landing on an unknown planet. He has survived there for almost 3 years. Although he has met many civilizations, he is generally unwelcomed because of his race (Apex aren't an accepted race on the planet he lands on).

 

Expand the story. They don't like shorter stories. It doesn't make for good RP.

Character Name: Kuma Kin

Character Race: Human

Character General Info: In her 20s she really likes exploring and finding exotic things. She isn't too good at fighting but she does well with a gun. Generally a carefree girl, with a blunt attitude, and a dark sense of humor. Hoarder, with a case of kleptomania.

Character Description: She is thin in frame with blonde hair. She looks fairly normal except for an odd scar she has on her cheek. She has a muscular physique from a rather nomadic cardio she had endured on her travels. She kind of lost her mind being separated from other sentient beings but she is still somewhat intact. She can be aggressive and thrifty but she generally is shy and speaks quite softly. She is bi-lingual as most merchants were from other planets and trade her odd knick knacks for goods she had recovered. She also has very blue eyes and doesn't really enjoy shoes though she understands their necessity. She generally doesn't like fighting and avoids conflict.

Character Biography: Kuma was a collector on her home planet. She scavenged and collected stuff and turned it into other junk or sold it for money to local merchants. She generally would keep anything shiny she found. Her planet had a strong electromagnetic field so most ships plummeted to the surface when their equipment failed then she would scavenge them for parts.

Some ships were equipped with organic equipment that wasn't effected by electromagnetic pulses. The planet was generally ruled by a large group of avian who looked down on the humans but usually left them alone unless they encroached onto their territory. She scavenged a star map from a ship and wanted to travel to all the POIs listed by the dead crew.

Most of the Avians who ruled their planet would exile humans if they tried to gather into hubs or groups so most stayed as hermits or nomads. She wasn't exiled like some humans were she merely left to go venture into the wild unknown maybe she could find some people to be with who liked shiny things like her. So she scavenged parts and made a ship of random junk parts from a lot of other ships then she just aimed straight up, guessing the electromagnetic field could only shut off her instruments, then she kept flying straight until she ran out of gas then she activated the gravity stabilizer.

Hovering over some unknown planet she realized her ship being made of parts from other races around the galaxy made her feel proud for some odd reason. She looked at the console which was similar to a flower garden, the body of the ship looked like a medieval boat, and the engines were large crystals that radiated an odd glow and were also very shiny. She had finally landed on a trade planet where she sold the ship for a smaller one because it was quick large. The ship she bought was called "Spelunker Spaceship: Excalibur" which apparently was an old warship. She called it "Shippy" affectionately. She left the trade planet after selling some stuff she didn't need and a few things she wanted but didn't have space for.

She had bought some new clothes which she thought were rather "Dapper" unfortunately she had small understanding of the currency and paid too much but she enjoyed them anyways. After buying the ship and packing to go she opened her star map and set course to a planet she saw first. As she entered the blackness of space she realized the ship she bought had very little gas. She got a good distance trying to be conservative with her fuel but eventually she ran out and just had enough to slowly coast towards her designated planet.

In that time she scribbled all over the walls like the writing of a madman as she thought about all the possibilities that lie ahead.

A alert came on and it was warning her that she was stuck in a meteor storm and that she should brace for impact. Before she finished reading it the meteor hit the side of her ship sending her off course. The blow had knocked her unconscious. After a while she awoke wondering if she was still alive. The ships emergency lights were on and she felt light and she realized the gravity simulator had failed. She shook of her drowsiness and floated towards the window.

She saw a planet which she had never seen. After a while of reading instruction manuals that had come with the ship she had repaired it enough to stop it from crashing into the planet. She realized she would have to go scavenge to fix her ship. She wasn't opposed to the idea but excited. A new place to explore. New people to meet. She quickly worked on fixing her surface-to-ship teleporatation device so she could have a look around.

 

Character Name: Paul G. Marshall
Character Race: Human
Character Biography:

Marshall was born in a military base on Earth where his parents were stationed as part of a mandatory draft, and grew up in an environment that had a year round demand for combat readiness. Only months after he was born, his mother was called back into active duty and was deployed to combat a rogue branch of the armed forces; which ultimately was responsible for the deaths of both his parents, and half their platoon.

With no direct family or relatives willing or able to take him into their care, he was adopted by one of the combat engineers his father became close friends with -- after he turned 23, he enlisted into the USCM and was assigned into a Special Investigations Unit.

After a couple years of service, his team began investigating a terrorist cell which was based in a refueling bay, where they discovered that preparations had been made for the cell to be shut down, with several space ships fully fueled and loaded with intel on other cells. They raided the facility, and after taking several casualties he tried to fall back with the wounded -- but one of his team members opened fire on them and shot those with him, accusing them all of desertion. Not willing to add to the loss of life, he rushed to the nearest ship and forced open one of the doors as a firefight continued between forces.

He forced the pilot inside to take off and fled as his former co-worker started to relay what happened to the chain of command. It wasn't long after he had deserted the USCM and was branded a traitor that Earth was destroyed, and despite the years that have passed he still hasn't come to terms with how he left. Often times losing track of the task on hand thinking about his old life, Marshall realized his ship had begun drifting towards an unknown planet and that his fuel reserves have hit critical levels. Taking whatever working gear he still had on board his ship with him, he stepped onto the teleporter pad with a feeling of uncertainty.

Character General Info/Description:

Marshall spent two years active duty with the USCM and spent three years before in training and as a result maintains a healthy lifestyle, he kept the buzzed hair and clean-shaven face and stays physically fit out of discipline. He is tan like his mother was, and has his fathers black hair.

He was given a black jacket from his adoptive father which he wore the day he fled and still keeps it with him today, as a reminder of what he lost. Marshall is roughly around 32 to 34, and has a personality that enjoys the company of others but appreciates being alone. He enjoys snow, and colder climates over warm ones due to that belief that more can be done to combat the cold than to beat the heat.

Character General Info:

Gulux is always following Big Ape teachings, he is hardworking, narrow-minded but very friendly to his miner-comrades, he's only joys in life are heavy drinking "Banana-vodka of Victory" and breaking another coal mining records, last time it was 250% of norm.
Character Description: He is of average height, brown haired and bearded, he usually wears his miner uniform and googles.
Character Biography: Gulux grew up in typical flat M3 in the "Fiftieth of Golden Banana estate". He was always taught to become a miner, and so he did. In hes early days of labor, he was an average Apeworker, doing just 100% of norm, never more, never less. But around the age of 25, he became inspired by Big Ape teachings, and started to work harder and harder, in his 26th birthday he broke coal mining record and done 130% of the norm, he was called an "Example to other Apeworkers", (the norm was of course quickly raised up after this achievement, but we don't talk about this). Then year after year he broke more and more Ape-working-class records. But in he's early 30's he was told that for the reward for his exemplary work for 5 years, he is chosen to be one of the workers that will assist Minikong in their new scientific expedition and building new collective. What will he face there, will he break another mining record? This story has yet to be told.

Character Name: Honeypot
Character Race: Floran
Character General Info: She is a curious, free thinking Floran girl that tends to get herself into trouble by asking questions that would seem insulting to others (though in truth it's not meant as such, she's just curious and doesn't exactly have social graces). Not really a hunter at heart unlike most of the Floran species she prefers the taste of fruits and veggies or whatever she can eat really, Though if it comes down to it she will eat meat if she truly must. Just be careful if she ever tells you that you look tasty, she's probably NOT flirting with you and is just very very hungry.
Character Description: Her skin is a deep red in hue, looking like she's been freshly stained in the blood of a red blooded species at least. Her foliage is a golden honey-ish color and tends to make her easy to spot. Her mouth has a natural curve giving her a manic looking smile to those who would see her. Honeypot tends to walk with an awkward gait, her eyes always on the ground in front of her rather than the sky or the area forward of her, counting every step she takes. She's not exactly well 'developed' for a Floran 'female' as she has a sticklike figure and frame. Save for her hips which are a bit wider than normal, likely due to all the toxic fruits she eats on a daily basis. She tends not to wear anything at all if she's walking around, preferring to wear just her foliage as she runs about exploring and asking questions, though she will wear the random odd bit of clothing if she can.
Character Biography: Honeypot used to be a trapper on the planet her tribe had colonised, she would dig pits for her prey and line the bottoms with a sticky poisonous honey sap that she harvested from the trees on her planet, thus the name Honeypot was given her by her tribe. Eventually she became bored of waiting and actively lure prey into the pit by baiting them, flitting in and out from between the trees. And then she'd sit at the edge of the pit and watch as whatever fell into it ate the honey either by accident or on purpose (Not every beast is a genius after all). One day she lured an odd creature into the pit half her age, though as she watched it fall into the pit she could hear it's crying and the sound tugged at her heart as she approached the edge of the pit the human child inside the pit was bawling it's eyes out as it held it's arms about it's stomach, retching from the poisonous honey that it had ingested. Honeypot jumped in unthinkingly to save the thing, tossing it out of the pit as she herself became trapped in it. As she ate the honey (Which was a tasty treat to her while poisonous to everything else) She waited and waited, thinking on her actions and the cute crying thing she just saved, wondering if this is what she really wants from her life and thinking there's much more to the world than just eating and being eaten, right? Set in her thoughts on the matter Honeypot eventually came to the decision that she wanted to see the world for what it was now, when she was eventually rescued from the pit she told her leader her plans to which he responded by denouncing her as a traitor to all Floran kind. Her own response to that was taking the sword from the Tribe leaders bedside and chopping his head from his shoulders, followed by a mad dash to the only spaceship her tribe had managed to create and leaving the planet to explore the universe. "Thisss ssshould be fun!" Was the last thing any of her tribe, now stranded on their world until an unwary space traveler came by. And thus begins the tale of Honeypot.

Character Biography: In his childhood Prollo "The Pro" Rapja was raised as a very religious Avian, he lived by the rules given to him by his parents to, worship kluex daily. As he grew into his teen years he began to question what Kluex had really done for him, or whether he really even existed. The Pro joined up with a pirate crew with his cousin and left his homeworld behind, looking to explore the universe and find other living beings. Shortly after a raid on a floran planet went south, he realized his new mission was to destroy any Floran ships, villages, and cities. His captain had a different mission, to plunder and pillage every planet in the solar system, for Kluex. The Pro rallied his few allies on the ship and initiated assassinated his captain. "It was an accident" they said, but his cousin knew what really happened. His cousin played along with what had happened for many years, they looted hundreds of planets in the sector and destroyed thousands of homes. But over the course of the past few years his crew started questioning the decisions he made. His cousin had been talking... Now he has woken up with no fuel and nothing but a few seeds on a lonely uninhabited planet with no memory of how he got there or where his ship was. His racism was his undoing and he looks to improve relations with Florans in the area, but he knows what he has done to there people, and it will not be forgiven easily.

Character Biography:
As Wavediver grew up on one of the hylotl sea-planets,
he heard many story from the adventurers about the many races of the universe.
When he grew up his interest for the universe hadn't faltered one bit.
He managed to get with a group of researchers by offering his knowledge as a medic.
When researching a new animal with the crew, they got ambushed by a group of tribal Florans,
they killed the crew but Wavediver narrowly managed to escape back to the ship.
As he tried to navigate back to his homeplanet,
he ran out of fuel for the ship and is now left floating above a unknown planet.
