Server Help Unable to set up lan server

Hey, i tried to set up a LAN server recently following the instructions on this thread: https://community.playstarbound.com/threads/lan-server.35260/ and for whatever reason the cmd line stopped doing anything at "listening for incoming TCP connections." Any idea what might have gone wrong?

 

Does anoyne have any idea? I really fell in love in this game within the first few minutes and I want to start playing but if I can't play local multiplayer I'm probably just going to refund it

 

what version is the other person playing if it is steam you just need to start the game and they can join you off your friends list.
if they are on other versions then make sure to go into your settings and check to allow others to connect to you by IP (you might need to port forward)
to check your LAN IP go to (Network and Sharing Center > click on > in this window click details > and look for IPv4 Address that will be your LAN IP)
