um help... here?

    i been on this planet called Alpha Delta Col 40 IV...
    i cant find a single silver ore and i needed to find it for the radar thingy..
    it also very hard to find iron i got like only 3 and it been like1-2 hr since i played this game...
    Any1 know the trick to find those 2? or it just depend on ur luck...

    im new so idk where to ask for help....

    try going to a new planet and holding off on the beacon for a bit until you're really kitted out.

    I have found that iron and silver spawn the most further down.

    Sand/Mud/Slime biomes can be found further down and seem to contain a lot of iron and silver. They usually appear below the standard dirt layer

    i kept going on deep but after the i got deep at the end of stone all i see is dirt so i gave up and try to find new place to dig.
    ty for advice maybe imma go dig on that place again.

    Yeah I had dirt, then a lot of cobble stone and then hit large patches of dirt again before giving up too. The next time I went down I pushed on much further and started to find some fairly cool mini biomes with some weird dangers, items and enemies....oh and of course ores. Watch those pesky sand caverns though ;)

    I've found most of my Silver down in the sand layers, below the dirt. Make sure you have plenty of wood with you if you venture down there.

    Plus, don't forget that each planet is random. Whatever I get, you may not get.

    @checkman123 once you have Scavenger armor and an Iron Bow you can start exploring the Planets with a Threat Level of 4-5. A good weapon with 4-6 Armor Penetration is also recommended (so you deal full damage to mobs).

    They're not going to be easy, but you are going to find a lot of Silver there as soon as you start digging. Usually 1-2 screens below the surface you can already see some silver ore stacks. And once you're decked with that you can start exploring higher thread planets.
