Closed UI Menus Disappear

    I was in the spaceship at the start, playing around with the inventory menu, and when I exited, the whole UI disappeared. I don't have much to say on the way of repro, but I was playing around with my inventory slot allocation. (Also, the ui could use tooltips. It's hard to figure out what things do)
