Maybe some races can be weaker to one than the other and maybe the glitch could be immune, I am just spit-balling here but since the race bonuses will be armor centric I doubt that will be a possibility.

    Health / Hunger / Temperature 100%

Health, hunger and temperature bars are complete including unique behaviours from each depending on the players situation.

I think that before we can decide what type of temperature gauge we need, we have to know how temperature will work. Is it going to change as time passes in the day, or is it static and just based on the planet? How important is the exact temperature? Will farming require specific temperature ranges? Or is temperature going to simply be "it's way too hot/cold, put on the appropriate clothing". A simple icon with a color based on temperature would suffice- maybe add the number inside the icon or next to it if needed.

I'm pretty sure it's just "It's cold in this spot, your temperature is decreasing."

What if you jump into lava... "It's too hot in this spot, please get out of the bubble bath."

Heat wont' factor in that much. Jumping in lava just makes you take constant damage. Temperature really only will be used for cold areas.

    :mwahaha: .. :yeahhhh:
    Yeah, I know...

But it would be cool. Imagine you are getting close to lava, the temperature increases, "Warning ... You are in danger." but you continue walking in the same direction anyways without heat resistant equipment, "Warning ... You are about to die." (yeah yeah, whatever *keep walking*) "WARNING !!! *Meep Meep Meep* TEMPERATURE OVERLOAD" Then the character is on fire before reaching the lava, health decreasing very fast, only way to survive would be jumping into water or shooting yourself continuously with a water gun, or using water balloons, or using a fire extinguisher or crafting a bed really fast and put your character to sleep to increase health while the character is laying in the bed still burning.

I feel like temperature would be better illustrated by the character rather than through a UI element. Have a chat bubble occasionally pop up with something along the lines of "Brrr..." inside of it and a quiet teeth-chattering sound. This could be accompanied by shivering (I'm not sure if that could be easily accomplished), drawing frosty particles onto the character sprite, visible breath (or lack of visible breath depending on how cold the character is), or subtly coloring the character sprite blue. Any of these could become more frequent/severe as the character becomes colder.

Then why not just get rid of the temperature gague and have cold areas inflict a slow debuff? I'd say in cases of intense cold you'd just get a slow debuff rather than have to deal with any sort of complex stat.

A percentage in text? somewhere on the screen?
    Unless it's already been mentioned.

If Tiy were to use my small suggestion on status bar layouts, the open space beneath the character portrait would be a fine area to include a temperature indicator of some kind. Perhaps a face that is green and smiling when the temperature is comfortable, gradually turning to either a red or blue frown when too hot or cold, respectively.
