Seems like Livestreaming this epic game will be easier than ever! What do you guys think?

Don't really care, not in the arrogant way, totally, but that's it. I won't stream any game, ever, i guess

This will be really neat. I don't usually stream much, but I guess I'll probably start with Starbound.
Maybe we could all stream some sort of event, like a giant PvP match?

 

I don't feel any need to show my gameplay to anyone, but it's good to have for those who want to stream

 

Twitch is usually just "meh" quality. It isn't awful, but it is.

 

I don't see myself using this, but it's still neat.

 

I find this pretty neat, it may not be the best avenue for recording gameplay but its still something to look at.

 

If I had internet that could handle uploading, I could stream, and I probably would.

 

I'm curious as to if this feature would be in beta. As most of us are nervous about people showing beta gameplay without being aware that it's beta or it's viewers aren't aware or either of them not understanding what beta means so the game gets a little misjudged. But then again there's no stopping people from recording beta gameplay in the first place with or without a convenient implementation. Now either way, I'd like it as I have been itching to try my hand at game commentating or mixing it up with just showing gameplay without it because we already have enough commentators as it is. Guess this would give me a reason to start.

It sucks to be a noob like me who doesn't even know how to record what's going on my screen. I hope this helps because I really mean to start my own media channel, post my epic structures, my slaughter room with all the heads of creatures I killed displayed in jars on the wall, walk naked, etc...

 

I can't really see any need for this honestly. There's any number of streaming programs that can do this already, so why does Chucklefish need to spend time and effort integrating this feature into the game?
