Anyway welcome to the forums! Check out the roadmap to see how the game is progressing.

 

DF stands for Dwarf Fortress. Google it if you don't know what that is.

I have checked it, and I am infact looking at it right now.

 

Dwarf fortress seems awesome! Where can I get it?
I was asking since there are a lot of DF acronym games. (E.G.: Dead Frontier, Dragon Fable, etc.)
I think pretty much everyone has seen it, but I'm going to tell every thread on the "Introduce Yourself" just to make sure no new people don't learn about it!

 

Oh dearie me, you want to try out Dwarf Fortress? Very well. Just remember, other games have learning curves.

Also, if you can't stand the ASCII graphics, (I personally find them charming) you can always install a texture-pack-thingie. And remember:

Also, that's a pretty good idea. That roadmap is excellent, as I can actually see their progress. More games should do something like that, really.

Oh my god I love everyone on here. Dwarf Fortress, Monster Hunter, Dark Souls...has anyone here played Mass Effect?

All of these are great games!

Monster hunter and Dark Souls are my favorites... Oh the memories back when I was young... hunting monsters... getting my ass kicked by MOTHER****ING PLESIOTH AND HIS GOD DAMN HIPCHECK.

Everyone hates Plesioth. He's one of the monsters that got me trying out bows and bowguns...
