Trouble Jumping to Delta Sector

So I goofed around for a bit in Gamma after beating the Bone Dragon, but now that I'm armored up in Durasteel and have all the equipment I want, I'd like to get to the Delta Sector and start exploring them magma planets and such there. See what else I can find.

Unfortunately, I've tried to make an FTL jump to the sector twice now, and both times I seem to have gotten stuck in the jump. My ship doesn't leave FTL travel. I have to hit "Save and Exit" to go leave the game and do anything, and when I do, it puts me back at my original planet minus the fuel I consumed to make the jump to Delta.

Has anyone else had trouble with this?

 

Do you have fuel? Are you sure you are actually picking a planet?

 

Juice Box has had problems with the ship telling him he has more fuel than he does, then using the imaginary fuel and going no where.

 

"Magma planets" should be avoided.

 

There is a problem with getting stuck in "The jump" trying to go to magma or volcanic planets at the moment. Either try a different type of planet or this mod. It fixes the problem:

Ah, I didn't know! Well, bummer. I was hoping to visit these new planets but guess that'll have to wait. Thanks for the help!

 

With the mod You can visit them. It works perfectly.

 

I'm not sure I'd be able to use the mod, since I'm on the Steam version. I'm not super confident in my ability to apply a mod without screwing something up anyway, and it's not like I was dying to visit them, so I can wait. Thanks, though.

I am on Steam, too. If you change Your mind, You just download the file and extract it to this folder: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Starbound\mods
And that's all You need to do. Even I could manage that
