Just to add the bit more or a homely feel/touch we should be able to craft a trophy cabinet. Crafting: The trophy cabinet would be crafted using a range of building materials you can farm/make. Purpose: Hidden inside the game engine would be goals i.e. Kill "x" amount of "y" mob - reward "trophy item" (pertaining to the mob) Fall "x" distance and survive! - reward "crutches" or something funny. These Trophies wouldn't appear in your inventory but in you trophy cabinet for all to see. The goals themselves would be hidden from the player and the only way to find out about them is to complete them occidentally. When a goal is completed a message should be shown ("trophy collected") or something similar so that the player knows they have received a trophy. Use: The player would be able to walk up to the Trophy Cabinet and use it to view a menu of all the trophies they have collected. When selecting a trophy the player can then read a description of the trophy to find out exactly how the had obtained it in the first place! I think this is a quirky little idea which would add a lot of fun to the game, I know I always like little hidden surprises when I'm playing games as it adds to the fun and overall enjoyment of the game! Any improvements to this suggestion would be greatly appreciated and if you like it or dislike it let me know what it is you think!

Sounds OK to me. Maybe see if you can think of some more examples. Here are a couple to get you started. Mine "x" of "y" ore - Get a trophy (maybe an ingot) made of that ore. Consume "x" of "y" food - Get a piece of that food on display.
It's not something people would specifically be able to work towards as the goals would be completely hidden! You wouldn't know about it until you got it!
I think this is a far better idea than a simple Achievements Acquired list in a menu Would be something to proudly show off. You have my support
