Trees and the air we breath

    I think It would be cool if players could create biodomes so to speak on moons and other oxygen deprived areas by constructing a building then supplying dirt and a light source to grow trees inside. The trees would produce oxygen within a decently large radius (not passing through walls to the outside of course) allowing players to create moon bases and such without the need for O2 gear.

    That's a great idea about trees creating a breathable region around itself. It should only work if the tree is in an enclosed environment.

    That sounds like a pretty cool idea. You'd have to build the dome first, though. And then wait for the trees to grow, whilst still supplying them with CO2. But I'm sure that can be ignored for game purposes :D

    Exactly what I was thinking and tried on a moon. Would love to see it implemented.
