Now that I dont see a bug report section, please move this thread to the appropriate section.

Being a Starbound Bio-Engineer, I quickly realized that tree foliages of self-planted trees is displaced. See the pictures below, apparently it is not specific to a certain leaf type or trunk type. First screenshot is birch wood with willowy leafs. Second is burch wood with autumny leafs. Third one is pine wood with autumny leafs. In second and thirt screenshot

The leafs from non-top elements is placed too low and a bit left-handed where its supposed to be. Top-element foliage is generated too high and a bit right-handed of where its supposed to be. Please add to to-do-and-to-fix-list. In second and third screenshot you see a naturally-generated tree to the left.

Oh, and a suggestion: add an "average height" element to trees/saplings JSON. That way we can generate forests ranging from bushy-only to very-high-trees without always having to cut down those that are too big or too small and re-planting them. Could be generated at %average-height-value plusminus one segment.

Edit: pine with greenleaves looks okay and so does alien with lotus.

I'm impressed with the rainbow of colors, considering it's near impossible to find two very similar trees. Good job on that, unless there's a mod or method I don't know about that does that.

The foliage displacement is painfully obvious. It wasn't like that in the Koala builds either. Here's hoping it gets fixed.

No, I edited the hue value of the saplings in my character inventory. This was not a matter of luck, but as said, bio-engineering.(^_^")
