Tree - Falling Demo

In this video, there's trees falling, and some sort of "camp". This was streamed at about 9:40 GMT+8 12th of November.

 

Also Space marine armor, a few monsters and a gong.

Anyways, I love it! The falling animation of the trees is so awesome! And the rain looks nice, too!

nice, a 7 minutes of standing still, and two minutes spent on the actual video

 

It would be cool if the trees made a small (or big ^^) amount of damage to anyone they're falling on!

 

I would like falling tree damge, but with it being 2d on a single plane, thats a 50% chance of it landing on you...

also what, exactly shouldn't I have done?

i love how trees behave when getting chopped down, and they sway a little without a strong wind too, very nice

That's pretty cool. Definitely better than Terraria's tree falling.

Suppose someone uploaded it on youtube in case Tiy deletes it from his Twitch.

 

First time I've seen ore:
At time=6.45 you can see some in the background layer (two types), also at various other times in the video.
At time=7.32 he mines a single block of what looks like ore.

 

Cool! I like the character's cape.

 

Lots of milling around...wonder what he's checking amidst all that?
Well, at least now I have a better idea of how surface generation looks.

And it's looking pretty good. Still a bit rough, but good.

 

He's probably just chatting on IRC or messing with some other window, causing the 'down time'

He was telling us things on IRC. Here's a few things he mentioned:
- The cape was equipped in a back armor / clothing slot. That equipment slot is for capes, jetpacks, wings, etc.
- You can equip both usefull gear (with stats you want) and put on other gear (That you think look better on your character, 'Vanity slots') at the same time, so you can look cool without having to choose looks over stats / abilities on gear. Like in Terraria.
- Tiy also answered the question about a falling tree causing damage. He said it wasn't in yet (So it may be put in later).

Edit: Forgot the thing about Tree damage.

 

One could easily avoid a falling tree in real life, so I don't think it would be cool.
